Aurora Abbot chapter 1 . 9/6/2013 My god, this was epic. I loved it so much, you did really good. |
ladybug114 chapter 1 . 5/3/2013 Wow. Yup, that made me cry a bit... so much emotion this, it's awesome! Arthur knows exactly what he's doing- very in character. The last line pretty much killed me... fantastic. |
starfire25 chapter 1 . 8/1/2012 this is a very interesting story. i like it a lot. it shows a side of arthur. and yet still in character. |
AFreshlyPickedPlum chapter 1 . 9/17/2011 Well, I would say that everyone else has already said it. But seriously, they can't say it enough times. This. is. absolutely. amazing. No, really. I try to read this at least once a day. And it makes my day. You portray Arthur perfectly, as well as his relationship with Dom and with Mal. And that last line... oh. Oh. OH. Love it. :) |
Gabriel chapter 1 . 9/12/2011 Ouch, very nice job. I love how professional Arthur is up until he has a moment alone. That was painful and though she was not in the story you gave a good glimpse into the woman Arthur called lovely. "After all, he was Arthur. He didn't have emotions." Perfect, loved that bit. |
Secret Storywriter chapter 1 . 8/16/2011 That was beautifully written. Right off the bat, I want to thank you, thank you, THANK YOU that this is not an Arthur/Mal romantic fic. I really like the way that you had Arthur perceive Mal - his safe haven. It's true, really. A lot of poeple fail to realize that the projection Mal is not a reflection of the real Mal who Dom loved. I love the way you began the story and how Arthur was soothing as he collected the kids and although he hurried after dropping the kids off, he was still collected. The totem scene broke my heart. |
The Swim Chick chapter 1 . 9/7/2010 Awww! Poor Arthur! I loved the story- you keep them in character so well! You are really good at Inception fics... keep it up. |
Tenar Ohtarwen chapter 1 . 8/13/2010 ... this was utterly heartbreaking. So filled with angst, so full of despair, so terribly tragic... It was amazing. I could feel the agony, and the tearing of the soul, and I could see Arthur trying not to show all these things... It was wonderful. I don't understand why you weren't satisfied with it - to me it was perfect. You did a great job conveying all the painful emotions and recollections that washed over him the second he was alone. And it makes perfect sense for him to leave his own suffering aside to help his best friend make it through. I loved this :) |
Shingie chapter 1 . 8/12/2010 What? Why did you hate this? This was awesome and heartwrenching. The paragraph where Arthur questions why he's crying is so accurate to life. I remember when my grandmother died I couldn't figure out why I was crying and I was asking myself questions in the same way Arthur did. Anyway, the beginning was the perfect touch and the last one-liner just wrapped it up. Your characterizations are spot on! :-) |
UnintendedTrustFall chapter 1 . 8/11/2010 I loved this story! And I especially loved that last line, "After all, he was Arthur. He didn't have emotions." |
evenstar chapter 1 . 8/8/2010 I don't know what words should I is so great job!And I'm so glad you didn't throw it away, but decided to post it. How painful to have emotions but hide it so well. |
Ihni chapter 1 . 8/7/2010 Of COURSE he has emotions! And this was a very good take on this event. Well done, well written and well portrayed. :) |
Venice11 chapter 1 . 8/7/2010 This was a super creative fic, I love how well you wrote their Arthur's emotions, especially about dropping Phillipa and James off at their grandparents house, with the backstory about them not liking him very much. I thorougly enjoyed it! :D |
Miss Riku chapter 1 . 8/6/2010 Excellent :D! Very well done! Stuck out to me how in character you had them, and it made the story :) definitly a fav. |
Angelnanoo chapter 1 . 8/6/2010 Holy cow, that broke my heart :'( |
