WELL. I was looking at your account and I found this gem. A bit close to internet stalking, maybe? Oh well. Hmm, let me see, things I loved about this story...

1: Your descriptions of the characters. I believe that your characterization of Winry is slightly different than in canon (I think that she would not have a break down under those circumstances) but then again, who knows? Especially considering the history she has with people dying on her.

The character whose essence you captured the best was Edward. In both Winry's memories and his dialogue and actions in the story, he came out very clearly, even though he was mistaken for Alphonse. Especially the line, "Are you falling for me Winry? Can't say I blame you. I am quite the catch." I immediately thought: wait, AL WOULD NEVER SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT! But I laughed when I found out it was Ed.

2:Your format. The way you reveal everything as though it was Winry talking to a sympathetic stranger was excellent. It made the story very accessible, since the sympathetic stranger is, of course, the reader.

3: "Do I look like Riza?"

Some criticisms:

Mainly, the Winry shows practically no grief for their dead child. I believe any mother would be more torn up about her child's death than that. Perhaps, after Winry is overjoyed and relieved to find out Ed is alive, she would cry a little more about finding out about the death of her son. She would still be sad, but not beyond repair because she her husband.

Also, you could have mentioned that she and Ed had children in the first chapter. She might mention to the stranger that she's a little worried about her boy, and that her son is being taken care of by a friend. Maybe she could Having her son unmentioned until the last one makes it feel like you didn't think of it until the end.

But anyway, this story is wonderful. Thank you for writing it.

That was a twist among all twists. Why, it's a twist worthy of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles! (in macchi-speak, that would mean 'omg I never saw that coming! Wow...devastated...')

Honestly, I don't really like AlWin. I just hate non-canon or one-sided stuff mostly. However, the way you wrote your story has made me accept AlWin for once.
