Like Alex, I'm surprised that it proved to be so easy for her to leave D&C, but the reasons you give are entirely logical - and you show us how the separations and difficulties they have faced, have strengthened the lovers' relationship as nothing else could. I look forward to more A2A stories from you.

It's always sad to read the end of a good galex fic. I have really enjoyed reading regular updates and look forward in the future to your new creations. Galex lives forever in fan fic... Loved the last line about cold feet and their relationship they have over come so much together.

it was so funny when Alex realised her plan was all for nothing and that she could have just went in signed some papers and left. aww i am so sad that this story has come to an end i was really enjoying it and i am so glad that Alex and Gene are fianlly back together. they deserved to have a happy ending after everything that happened to them. great end to a great story XD

Yay, Gene is back doing what he does best! I love the idea of Alex being able to contact him via D&C Hell via their radios, and of the sound of one one anothers' voices giving them comfort and faith. I just hope that she will be able to get herself out of D&C.

ah the king returns to his kingdom in Gene Genie fashion. its good to see him back at CID catching scumbags. its good that Alex is keeping optimistic too, even in the situation she is in. i hope she gets back to Gene soon and they become a proper team again. its good that the Guv and stephen seem to have come to an understanding. another great chapter cant wait to read more. keep up the good work.

yeah another chapter. aww poor Alex i feel so sorry for her and so amazed that she did everything she could to get Gene back to his kingdom without once thinking about herself. i suppose it goes to show how much she truly cares for him. i hope Gene hurries up and finds a way to get Alex back to him again. this is getting even better as it goes on i cant wait to see how it will all end. keep up the excellent work and remember to update soon.
