I like it so far, lots of details, great pacing and clever story idea. I for one, like the IM conversations, but some explanation as to who was who would be helpful. All in all, great job and please do continue!

Very good start for a story, and the IM text was okay, but I would have liked a name beside each one. Also, those meteorites would have to be going MUCH faster than three thousand miles an hour to get to Earth when the story says it does from the edge of the Solar System. Otherwise, kudos.
