Minus the 'killing people' part, I'm more inclined to agree with Walter's view on things. Then again, this is a series in which feelings are everything. If Henry's sacrifice actually worked, then.. it's a good death. Gave him purpose, cleansed a small part of the misery of Silent Hill. Justifies his existence.

What a wonderful story! I loved the depth and thought you put into this. I could imagine you going back to check the game to make sure that some of the scenes matched (I know I've done it myself). It was very easy to visualize and enjoy. I'm glad to see Henry's empathy coming through so strongly and actually making him react to all the knowledge he's gained of Walter's past.

The end was very sad, but satisfying. I'd really love to see what Walter's thoughts were on it all, especially once he got his mother and was left with nothing but wondering about Henry's sacrafice.

This...was an amazingly great fic. You really turned me on to HenryxWalter, 11x21. Everything is described so beautifully and you convey Henry's emotions flawlessly. You're an amazing writer, much better then most of the people on . It was hooked right from the beginning. Eileen's new death was a nice touch as well. I liked how Henry din't LOVE her, but he loved her. And poor Walter...you really made me think about what HE had to go through in the game. Really, this is just too amazing for words.

ahh, this was an amazing and thought provoking story! i really liked it, to be sure, and i really wanna see what you do with the next in the series. i wish Henry and Walter could have gotten farther in their relationship, but that wouldn't have been very realistic, would it have? i'm looking forward to the next installment!

So sad. I wish Henry would've gotten Walter... But I guess the ending was happy, in it's way
