First impressions, (Legolas was a valuable member of the Fellowship...but what if "he" had been a "she"? Genderbent Legolas Greenleaf. No slash, No Legolas-bashing, and NOT A MARY-SUE! Characters may be a bit OOC, however. Chapter 35 up - "The Paths of the Dead")

I haven't started reading yet, the introduction sounds interesting but the claim of "NOT A MARY-SUE" is slightly alarming. My first thought immediately goes to, so the character is going to be a watered down weakling? I've never understood how a role-playing term made its way into literature in the first place. Mary Sues don't really apply here, at least in my opinion. Does it really matter if the written character can smote their enemies with a sneeze, or is a beauty beyond belief, if the story is interesting? If you place that disclaimer to attempt to limit the flames and whining, I suspect you'll find its a futile effort. Better to write the story you envision rather than cater to those with the biggest mouths. -my opinion on it anyways-

My apologies if this bit of criticism isn't welcome, I see that thirty two chapters have already been written and I have no idea what yet awaits. I only offer this first impression because I disagree with the concern of Mary-sues. I've seen many potentially good story themes ruined because authors are too concerned on that.

Regardless, I look forward to finding out, and even if the story doesn't appeal to me I thank you for contributing and sharing your story with us.

Christ's sake, fucking update already! Don't mean to be rude, but its been months an you left us on a damn cliffhanger! I get that u have a life, but its been a long ass time and leaving your viewers on a cliffhanger is just not cool. So please add a new chapter soon!

This is a really brilliant fem au and I'm really loving it. I thought I wouldn't like it and that it would become a fem mary-sue story but it hasn't. So please update and keep up the good work!
