Awww it was so sad at first and then so sweet! I was worried at the accident scene it would Atemu in the accident I was relieved it wasn't but feel really bad for Thomas and his family at the same time and its not even real...its not right? Anyway I still hold to what I said before, you should get back into writing sis you have too much talent to let it go to waste.

There isn't much I can say. It was wonderful, as all your works are. You dug deep in the mind of a paramedic and made that world more realistic than ever.

i really enjoyed this story, it was really good. this is why i never understood why some people say being a paramedic/doctor/nurse is an awesome career. what's so cool about seeing people hurt every single day? i'm glad Yugi decided to quit that job and he's lucky to have Atemu as a boyfriend. :)

That was a really cute story. . I really loved how you showed how hard a job like that could be. It's the reason I don't want to be a vet or doctor, I love animals and people and want to help, but I couldn't stand to see them hurt. I think with so many people writing about how good it is to be a doctor and such, it's interesting to see the other side. So yeah, great plot. You also did an awesome job on the writing and characters. You're writing is really good and clear and I don't really see any mistakes. :) Great job!

Nice story. Being a paramedic and seeing all the death,injury and misery of what people can do to each other has got to be terrible. Poor Yugi.

The summery for this scared me a bit because i was petrified one of them died, until i read the other half.

Its sos yugi that he doesn't want to burden Yami with his problems-a lot of people are like that, but Jou's right he needs to talk to Yami. Being on Yami's end with some of my friends, I can sympathize with Yami's situation. Yugi's constantly in danger and he worried about Yugi and when Yugi doesn't talk to him it makes him think he eithet, A. doesn't trust him or B. he's done something to make Yugi distant. If Yugi keeps secrets, Yami is naturally gonna get susbicious and there in comes the fights and the problems.

But enough of my ranting: very good job with Yugi's character, both the ups and the downs to it are very realistic, and fit his personality well, including his reasons for keeping Yami in the dark against his wishes.

Yugi's problem seems to be his lack of trust or talking: he knows there's no reason why he shouldn't talk to Yami but he diverts his attention from it and ignores anyone else's advice on it (coughjou's) because he knows it's right

I really like the plot here, complications between work and relationships are always challenging but in this case Yugi's job is incredibly stressful because it requires round the clock hours, emergencies and helping people and in some cases, events where he might not come out alive, even as a paramedic. And its obviously having a negative effect on Yugi. His job is causing him stress because he's a good person but he takes all that stress in and doesn't tell anyone about his own-and that's what's causing his fights with Yami. Yami and Jou both want to help him but Yugi won't let them because he doesn't want to dump his problems on to them.

The whole accident scene was very realistic and suspenceful it really kept me on edge and i felt like i was one of the people on the road wondering what the hell happened.

Oh god! Poor Yugi-first death is always the hardest. God damn, at least he died on impact and it wasn't Yugi's fault (you already know if that hadn't been the case Yugi would blame himself for not getting there fast enough or doing something wrong)

I honestly didn't blame yugi for freaking out at that teen for taking that picture. I mean Teenagers have no idea what's going on or how this can happening, they see a fight and they record it rather than help the person. Its just like in this. Yugi sympathizes with everyone he helps and it repulses him that people can just look at a dead body act like its the coolest thing ever just because its someone they don't know.

Oh man looking through the guy's wallet tore me up: I can't imagine what yugi must've thought. I rest my case when i said you got his character down. He's extremely empathetic. He;s thinking of the man's family, everyone who's gonna be hurt by this death and it inturn hurts him.

I have a lot of respect for these gus as Yugi and jou just demonstrated (though i hate doctors) It takes a lot foc ourage and guts to do what they do, but it effects the in severe ways. This is what i was talking about Yugi is over stressed and everyone sees that except him.

I'm gonna say this right now. I love Atemu! not just how you described hi but everything! his personality is awesome! hes mature, cool, collected and down to earth and he knows Yugi better than anyone and wants to be there for him and it obviously hurts him that Yugi won't let him. Why else would be be at the station right?

And he's also right his job is changing him and not for the better: its hurting him. Like i said, only a few people can handle jobs that work like this-it eats you alive and when you start to get used to it thats when you know its time to retire-because then you can't do you're job right) And Atem;s right it IS killing him. Yugi's the kind of person who cares too much, he can't take this all in and just walk away like nothing happened, he has to break down.

My favortie part was when Yugi finally broke (and i loved Atem's declaration to) not only because it was a sweet moment between them but because Yugi really needed it: like severely.

I'm not surprised Yugi wants to help people and change the world, but its easier said then done, and it doesn't always have to be about taking bad guys off the street or saving lives. Every life, ever person he touches changes the world, and he's always been the kind of person to make like even a bit better for everyone he meets.

That was an awesome onehsot. It was very realistic in everything that happened, Yugi's reaction to his job and his relationship with Atem, and the complications both cause make sense are very real. I also like how nothing was sugar-coated in this, not that i expected it to be but you could really see all this happen and feel yugi's pain and what he's going through.

My only regret is that there was so little time between him and atem, it know it had to be but its obvious Atem is important to him.

I'm in awe right now because you managed to get a lot done in a little space. First, you got the mix of emotions that Yugi is feeling really well and managed to set up everything perfect. Second, you managed to freak me out there for a moment at the crash because I though that it had been Atemu in there. Third, you made the relationship with Atemu seem very realistic, not perfect but in a nice place. If I could change anything about this fic, it would be that we got more time with Yugi and Atemu because Atemu is obviously very important to Yugi. Fourth, the motivation for Yugi is very much in character and yet so simple. Not simple in a bad way, but one of those simple reasons that show a lot about a character.
