This. Was. Amazing!

Now just need an epilogue showing how someone did something about making Angel's soul permanent, and showing the big happy family and it'll be perfect! I liked it, the humor, the awkwardness, Buffy setting Angel straight about Spike (even though canon ruined him in the later seasons, imo). The random, Andrew-solves-it at the end. Buffy and Angel making it work. Really enjoyed this. : )

This was the BEST B/A fic Ive ever read! So in character and funny! Love the Spike mix too but love my Buffy and Angel! !

You are fabulous. You've taken Buffy's truest weakness and shown us her greatest strength. I love the argument over Spike and I just adore how Fred was amazed at how much the vampires changed around Buffy. Just...well done.

Amazing! Loved it! a B/A fic thats spike friendly is so hard to find. he didnt even get all irrationally jealous and resentful of Buffy and angels relationship, which is great!

i really liked spike and buffys friendship, i dont know why more people dont. i have only ever found 3 fics where they have some sembelence of friendship and it usually ends badly. :(

and Buffy be faithful and honest and not cheat on each other please. Also later on can Buffy move back to LA so that she can stay with Angel can they get married can Buffy and Angel have a mircale baby so that both of them can be happy please.

Finally back after a month delay...typical. :) Anyway, I found the latter half of the story just as entertaining and touching as the first, and thought I should drop a note to let you know. You have SUCH a handle on Spike. How will I ever be satisfied again seeing him written by anyone else?

Oh, and that dialogue in the last chapter is especially golden. I submit that Bruce Campbell is an EXCELLENT hero, unibrow and all, but I do recall being part of an audience who had the same exact reaction as this to the...tree moment. It was a long time ago, but boy did you bring those memories to the surface.

Nice, scary fight/trial scene with Buffy and her demons. And thanks for the happy ending. It would have been so wonderful to see Buffy and Angel pulling off a successful long distance relationship at this point.

Great job! I really enjoyed this story and how you wrote the characters. Amazing job with the angst of Buffy's "demons". :)

Oh, wow. This is longer than I thought and maybe I should not try to finish it tonight. Don't want to let the first half go unreviewed, though; I am enjoying it so. I know how you feel about the struggle with longer stories, and finding parts that you don't like so much when you look back at them, but honestly I think there's nothing in this one that should concern you.

I appreciate your invitation to be honest about it, but the only thing I'd be likely to criticize, if I had reason for it, is the way characters are written. (When it comes right down to it, that's the only thing I even really care about.) And you're just fantastic with the characters. Every line sounds like it came straight from their lips. Every relationship between them is real, and all of their choices are believable. This story put me right into their world.

Buffy in particular is a real joy to read here. I don't know how you make her so consistently adorable without diminishing any of her strength and intelligence. And I especially love your humor, and the little references to parts of both shows.

Can't wait to finish it!
