| Sisypheria chapter 1 . 8/9/2012 Having beaten the most recent Pokemon game, I felt that old spark for the series come back to me, too. Totally felt like writing an Ash and Misty fanfic, but after watching some old Pokemon episodes, I realized I was intrigued with Gary of all people. Just like you, this was unexpected as when I was a little girl I only wanted Misty to be with Ash, haha (on top of the fact that I considered Gary a personal rival...it was hard for a first grader to beat him in Red version, lemme tell ya!). This fanfic marks the first ever "egoshipping" fanfic I have read, and I LOVED it. You don't layer the romance on too thick; rather, it's a very believable curiosity. I also really enjoyed the way you structured the story. The two never meet, but their segments in this story are parallel, from them both having a family member tell them mail has arrived to the photo they give one another. That's just brilliant. :) I haven't checked yet, but I hope you've written more fanfiction. You're a great author! |
