Ah, well done well done. I love the juxtaposition of Cloud's "angles" against Tifa's "curves." Lovely word choice there. This was a nice story, good use of the present tense. The development of the plot was nice, I think the characters were nicely in character. The intimate moment was beautifully written, subtly detailed, tasteful, and ultimately romantic. You're very good at that!

Absolutely loved how hot this was. I'm a very hardcore Cloti, but in a way that makes sense. Nothing irks me more than when they're just paired up without any details on HOW. You made their realizations and resolution believable, and I do love watching Cloud take initiative in a convincing manner, which is actually quite hard to do.

Can I just say how much I love you for detailing how Tifa can be dense, too? 'Cause she can be, and - according to Case of Tifa - she was, and I do love you for writing this. Cloud made mistakes, but it's very very refreshing to see someone acknowledge that Tifa wasn't exactly paying attention either. ;) Plus, it's all wrapped up in a nice hot romance with a side helping of fluff: what's not to like? You knocked me into orbit again with this one. I was afraid to read it because I have an anaphylactic reaction to the word "angst", which is half of what you labeled this story. Howsomever, I did some calming breathing and plunged in and am so glad I did. It's very juicy, but it is thoughtful, too. You love words: the fretting fingers. And you know how to use them: "What if,...I came to...covered in your blood?" "That was how I died." These two are so magical together and you've got them just right. Not emo-foolish, not proud-dense, but in love and afraid of tempting fate by being so. There are days when it's the same for me, and it's been many, many years. A delicious trembly, state-of-heart...
