I am kind of disappointed that this episode did not bring back that thing from Island Of The Giant Pokemon where the subtitles show what the Pokemon are saying. But this chapter fixes that. XD

I remember loving this episode quite a bit, especially with how they basically cheat in order to find Ash at the end. The Pikachu and Buneary bit was one of my favorite parts so I am really happy that it got its own chapter here.

I can't tell if I am supposed to find Happiny to be annoying or cute. Either way she was a highlight for me.

Secretly, Buneary is probably hoping that she and Pikachu both end up getting stuck in a maze yet again. Just the two of them too this time.

Enjoyed the chapter as always. These are always a lot of fun to read.

I'm surprised I forgot about this episode, given that I loved it so much as a kid.

Seeing Pikachu's egotistical qualities are quite surprising. So much for being Ash's humble, cheerful, and pure hearted Starter! XD

Also, Pikachu's imitations are totally more convincing than Team Rocket's disguises. XD

I wonder what kind of disguise Buneary would have done. Perhaps another Rabbit Pokemon?

Some ego you have Pikachu, almost reminds me of Piplup. Pikachu didn't end up winning. Why did Brock choose Croagunk to begin with? Pikachu getting flustered even with his big ego.

I was going to ask if Pikachu had some Ditto in him, butt you beat me to it.

Nice one shot here, like the reaction you had for Buneary's reaction to Pikachu impersonating her! lol

I also have a couple of suggestions for one shots, the first one I have is an alternate story telling from the episode Pika and Goliath where Buneary is outside her Poke Ball watching Pikachu be treated after his loss to Raichu and later on secretly staying with Pikachu in his room where she talks to him to convince him he's perfect the way he is.

My other one shot idea is right at the end of Dawn's visit to Unova and the two manage to have some time with each other to catch up on what the other's done since they last saw each other in Sinnoh and Buneary tries desperately to try and confess her feelings for Pikachu but gets too shy to admit them. Then when it finally comes for her and the rest of her team to leave, right before she gets on the boat she tries one more time, only for this time to Pikachu to simply silence her with a hug to let her know he already knows and promises to see her again one day for a possible date.

Have Buneary just called Pikachu 'Sugar Cheeks' from here on out why do ya?

its the little things you notice that you want to make a story out of it because the writers are dumb
like i had a little discousion with a friend on how for some reason buneary looks so tall around pikachu in unova that i even considered writing about it but scraped it
hm the thing that comes to my mind when it comes to little hints is that moment in "the a mazeing race" episode where it looks like pikachu and buneary have a tea party or something with happiny

Anyway, this is probably the most unpredictable one-shot yet. I literally didn't know what was gonna happen next. And to add to that, it was an April Fools' Day fanfic, so...yeah.

I've really enjoyed reading your all your stories, especially In Times of Danger and To The Core (my personal favorites). They're so creative and have a healthy dose of humor added to them. It'd be awesome it you could complete In Times of Danger; you kinda left with a serious cliffhanger, and it's been a long time since you've updated it. By the way, that was the first fanfic I ever read on this site, and that story was what got me addicted to PikaBun.

In conclusion, sorry if my review's choppy and I ramble a lot (it seems 75% of this review doesn't even pertain to this fanfiction specifically). Also, it's 3:30 in the morning here, and my brain's fried.

The second Buneary brought up her family, I was expecting a very dark turn by the end.

In my limited experience when it comes to pranks and relationships, best to be mindful when pranking someone who has a crush on you by using said knowledge of the crush in the prank, whether directly or not. Hardly ends well.

I just kept expecting something horrible to happen after Pikachu "revealed his past" to Buneary. XD I don't know what to expect on April 1st! A meteor could've dropped on them! Pikachu could've said something weird like "That's okay, I'm kind of into that"! Buneary could've kicked him into a river! I don't know XD! Though, I have to admit, it's been surprisingly tame today.

At least there was a happy ending. I don't usually find those in April Fools material. XD :) Nice work!
