I know the fic's old, but it's so sharp I had to comment. Love how intense your handle on Ben is, and through him Zack and Max.

It all seems so logical, the slide to madness, the hunger/hate for Manticore, the empty spot inside that only blood can fill.

That was beautiful. Absolutely heartbreaking.

That wasn't a fic, it was an experience. Granted, not the happiest experience I've ever had, , but the fact that it sucked me in so much that by the end of it I was feeling kind of worn out is a testament to the skill with which it was written. Truly one of the most excellent fics I've ever read, and definately the best Ben-fic. Ahh, how we love our beautiful psychos. Thank you for writing this!

I continue to be really impressed by the visceral, painful tone of your writing, the fearful imagery, the violence and pathos. Impressive structure. Normally, I hate this tense, as well as minimalist post-modern stylistic tricks, but this story works incredibly well. I was really moved, and I don't say that lightly. Thanks for writing it.

Oh... wow... amazing... I just found this on someone's "favorites" list, and I can see now why it was there. That was truly incredible, and a very different style from most of what I've read up to now-starting with his whole future and ending with the escape. Again, incredible.
