Whoa. That was explosive. Never thought that it went that far...but it could have.

So... this was pretty HOT! And even though it has an "M" rating and, yes, the scenes are pretty explicit, they are written in a loving manner that absolutely does NOT demean Jate. If anything, they are a total tribute to the sexiness of Kate and Jack. I imagine that erotic scenes can be tough to write because there is a fine line between tasteful and, well, not so tasteful. Erica, the way you describe their emotions is so moving. The reader can feel the love they have for each other. Total AWESOMENESS!

This is an absolute master work my friend. It is the one that I have been waiting to review, have been eager to review.I really do not how you do this, it is crazy sexy and absolutely tender at the same time. The regard that Jack shows for Kate is the real vein of gold through this entire story. Your love for him is shining through.

This shows such deep insight into his pain, his conflict, I love how self aware you have made him. I think that is what I love most about both of these characters, how aware they are of their mistakes, how aware they are of the cost of them, but how they have to go through them, all the way to their logical conclusion, until they see their way to the other side. I am silenced by the physical descrption, amazing, but more than anything it is full of feeling, a very difficult technical feat you have pulled off here. Abslutely wonderful. Another thank you way too late.

This is such a hot story, Erica, I come back to read now and again, time to say thank you! :) I've long stopped shipping and I grew from hating Kate to ignoring her, in canon. But I still enjoy reading fanfics if they a) have my beloved Jack in it and b) are well-written. Yours is obviously both. :) I love your writing style, rich vocabulary, creative metaphors and such. It's a pleasure to read. The simple and yet sophisticated elegance seems so effortless (like the air that Mr. Fox has around him ;)) that it's a double pleasure.

The sense of urgency, yearning, desperation and despair are so palpable in this story. It's a perfect capturing of the whole tryst. They were both so vulnerable, confused, hurting and needy... It was wrong and right at the same time on so many levels. My heart broke when Jack didn't let Kate have "just sex" and when she gave in, because she didn't really want sex. She wanted Jack. I loved how he was desperately trying to convey feelings through the act and how she was desperate to keep her walls up (I can only suspect it was to not let herself get hurt but I have a hard time accepting that because all she ever had to do was TALK to Jack to have him back). Their clinging to each other in a moment of culmination of longing and need was so intensely emotionally charged, that made it also very erotic. Along with the undercurrent of sadness and doom, it's like they wanted to just feel alive and connected... And such passion is sexy. And than there are the sensual descriptions, of course... ;)

Beautiful story and I agree, this type of erotica that is both realistic and sensual, emotional while descriptive, plus engaging, is hard to come by in Lost fandom, sadly...

this is so in character. for both of them. it must have been a bitch to write with Kate so pissed off. but you can sense the vulnerability from both sides and actually, hers especially. because you can clearly see she is trying to fight what she really is there for. sigh. the sex was hotness.
