I have to say I'm very glad that I rediscovered this story. I recently re-watched red eye and I was very...interested in looking for fics but because it's such an old movie I'm quite disappointed. However! The story is just as exciting the second time around. I actually cry when Lisa does :-( very good writing. I can't wait to read the rest again.

Is it wrong for me to think that Lisa/Caleb would be a great couple and almost hope they end up together? Hey I love Jackson/Lisa, that's why I'm here, but Caleb seems more... fitting for her in a way?

Hey, know it's been ages since this fic was posted but I'm reading it at the moment - currently on chapter 37 - and just wanted to let you know how utterly in love I am with your O/Cs, to the point where I actually would love to see more of them outside of this story - almost fan fiction about your O/Cs - which is something I don't think I've ever before said to a fan fiction author.
I was really surprised to find them so likeable as quite often the most I can say about O/Cs is I generally about tolerate them. But with yours, their interactions, back stories and characters are so well defined, developed and rich. And I have to say - glancing over your author's notes from earlier chapters - I was kind of half on the C/L bandwagon until I saw how much it hurt Jackson ;) I could totally see it building - even caught myself saying out loud "where are you going with this?" as their physical intimacy started to manifest itself in the occasional touch early on.
In fact I love your O/Cs so much that I'm gutted I missed it all when you were writing this and sending reviewers snapshots of the other bits and pieces of writing that you'd done around them / more detail on their back stories. Did you ever do anything AU on any of them? I'd love to see any of it that you still have access to and are willing to share.
In general, on the whole, the level of detail you have inserted into this story and the various plot lines is insane (and even a little intimidating - haha! - for someone who is working on something at the moment!)
In some cases, the number of lapses into introversion might bother me, but I can see the clear purpose of every single thought your characters have and how integral it is to their development and characterisation.
I also think you write the character's physical movements really well. That level of detail can sometimes be either overlooked or included in a way that is clumsy and difficult for readers to actually visualise. I haven't struggled to picture your characters' movements once, and there always seems to be a purpose to them as well.
Anyway, I'll review again once I've finished reading but wanted to post this in the meantime while it's still in my head.

I agree with you about Trudi, she does like to be the victim and has a victimization complex. I dumped the bitch, moved on and happy. She's just a special snowflake who needs to grow up, instead of living in wonderland.
