JB Hawke chapter 11 . 7/5/2015 Well done. |
SaraiEsq chapter 11 . 9/18/2014 Nice wrap-up, good tale. |
Ruth chapter 11 . 6/20/2014 I like it! Totally suspenseful and wonderful! I really could imagine Newkirk doing that after the war! Great job with everybody! My favorite part was when Shultz and Hogan were talking and Klink barged in on them! HA! :))) |
Susan M. M chapter 5 . 8/29/2012 Newkirk and Tiger actually makes sense. Papa Bear and Tiger, during the war, oui, after the war, non. And that's why Newkirk hasn't written the Guv'nor - he feels guilty about courting the colonel's bird. |
Abracadebra chapter 11 . 12/20/2011 I remember skimming this story some time ago after I had just discovered the HH fanfiction site, but I just read it carefully today and wow, I was blown away. This has to be the best postwar HH fic I have read. Excellent dialogue, and a very intriguing plot. I loved how you reintroduced so many key characters and places from the show, and also kind of enjoyed Hogan NOT being the one with all the answers for a change. Great job, I hope you will be writing much, much more! |
St PA chapter 2 . 11/10/2010 FYI Just a little while ago tonight, we watched the episode "Funny Thing Happened on the Way to London" (Season 3, Episode 5). Group Captain Roberts' first name was mentioned twice - it is James. |
aloha94 chapter 11 . 9/15/2010 I just read your story. :) You did a fantastic job writing it. I can definitely see Newkirk's strong protective nature come out in it. And I actually like the Newkirk/Tiger pairing. Hogan and Marie would never have worked out as a post wartime couple. It's just not realistic. He acted pretty much the same way with every girl he met in the show. Anyhow, you kept the story a complete mystery until the final couple chapters. Fantastic job! I can't wait for your next story. |
L J Groundwater chapter 1 . 8/13/2010 St PA, you need to join to leave a signed review, and most people don't know how to disable anonymous reviews in their first few stories- if you want to log in and join, feel free to PM me and I'll write you a guide through it :) Simone, glad you're better, and I had no idea how I missed three chapters (or did you post them all at once)! Glad to see the boys caught up, sad to see Newkirk instinctively NOT trust Hogan. Glad he realised that he can. Take care and stay well! |
smithcrafter chapter 11 . 8/12/2010 Good story. Not really exciting, but I liked the way it "tied up the loose ends", and as I said before, I like the pairing of Newkirk and Tiger. It just feels right! |
Crystal Rose of Pollux chapter 11 . 8/12/2010 This fic was definitely a suspenseful ride! I loved how you managed to keep the truth hidden until towards the end. (Glad I'm not the only one who agrees that Carter and Mary Jane should get back together!) And the end line was perfect- happy endings all around! |
Jinzle chapter 11 . 8/12/2010 This was a great story that I throughly enjoyed. You did an excellent job and the ending was just right. |
Sierra Sutherwinds chapter 11 . 8/12/2010 Suitable ending. It was good that everything worked out and the old gang got together again. I like to think that they would keep in contact for years to come and their reunions got more numerous every time. ;) Thank you for your story. It was not just interesting but exciting all the way. The mystery and suspense worked very well. I enjoyed it a lot, even when Newkirk was not actually there till the last chapters, you managed to keep him very present the entire story. Well done. Can't wait for your next adventure :) |
ColHogan chapter 11 . 8/12/2010 Perfect ending to a perfect story. Glad to see that Eichel got what he deserved and hopefully there will be a sequel concerning a wedding in France with the whole gang in attendance? Wonderfully written story. |
Bits And Pieces chapter 11 . 8/12/2010 Glad to see all's well that ends well. I especially liked the part at the end; that would be something to see! Terrific story! I enjoyed it very much. Thanks! |
Marie1964 chapter 11 . 8/11/2010 Great epilogue to wrap everything up. It would be fun to read a story about the wedding, and the reunion of the gang. Could there be any plans for this? |
