I really like this story. Its cute and original. I'm new to Katie/Oliver fics but i've decided i really like the couple. Their relationship is sorta like that of Teddy and Victoire.

this story is simply lovely. i don't understand how you can possibly hate it. your characterization of katie and the seemingly obliviousness of wood are perfect. and i love second-person POV too.

A love/hate relationship? The only relationship to have with is is one of pure and utter love (and a little bit of awe!)

I love the style of writing here; the vague, detached point of view is so enthralling. My favourite year was definitely when she was eleven but I adored the paragraph about 'it's his last year' "your heart breaks and aches and squeezes and bleeds at those fatal four words: it's his last year." It was beautiful and poignant and my heart broke a little along with Katie's. I loved it from beginning to end.

Well, I have a love/love relationship with this story. It's kind of amazing. Spotted one or two typos, but otherwise the writing is fantastic, it's short and sweet and adorable. And I love this pairing. The ending was beautiful _

I did like that this story was told in second-person Katie's POV, but I got confused when you used the pronoun 'they.' I wasn't sure who you were referring to. Other than that, it was a nice one-shot and a pleasant read.
