UPDATE ALREADY! and in her own twisted way, Katherine DID care about what happened to Elena through most of the series up until the end of season four. but i'd love to read more!

I really like what you’ve done here. I have spent hours pouring over fanfiction trying to find some good DE fics and this defiantly fits into that category.

I see your authors note at the end of the last chapter, however I disagree, I don’t think Katherine wants to hurt Elena physically especially after Isobel proclaimed how fascinated she was by her. I think she will be sooo jealous of her though. So I appreciate what you have done with Katherine, It’s against the grain and I really like it.

Please DO NOT put them on a hot sunny beach somewhere, somewhere normalish! Lol!

I love this story! I think you write Damon wonderfully, and I do love your Katherine. I felt the same way you did before I saw the preview, and even though she seems even more like a stone-cold bitch, I like to think she has a redeeming quality or two.

I appreciate the pace you're moving at. It's realistic, not too fast, and your characters' reactions to the events are believable. Like, no, Elena would not jump into Damon's arms and kiss him senseless the moment she saw him. She would do just as you described - so, very good job at keeping everyone in character!

I'm also glad you put Alaric in there, because I love him, and that you mentioned the other characters so it's not like poof, they disappeared just because it's convenient to have them not interrupting Damon/Elena time.

You're talented. And you have a broad vocabulary, which really shows off your skills. There are too many writers out there who forget how important each word is. Fortunately, you're not one of them. Huzzah. I hope for more updates soon!
