"Soon he'd be the last remaining Winchester." That line really got me. Great story. Ghostfacers is one of my favorite episodes.

I like this, how Sam is trying to be ready against Dean dying, but he needs his brother now when he's so helpless. I like how Dean works Sam back around to being, not quite whole again, but ready to fight once more. I like your last 2 lines as well, K.

Anyway, I just wanted to put it out there that the word for "diarrhea of the mouth" is 'logorrhea'. I only know that cause it's a sort of standing joke in our house. :)

Sam was trying /so hard/ to be like Dean and be ready for him to go to Hell, but he's not and realizing that is horrible because he has to be and there's no other option but he isn't and he can't be and he can't do this and it's really sad to see him fall apart like this.

Aw, such a sad, sad ending.

I did like this - I liked the immediate aftermath of what happened to Sam. I often find in SPN that the scenes I want them to show the most, they just skip over. This was one of them. Thanks for filling in the void.

That episode would have been so much better with this little missing scene! I loved this! Sam showed us he still was himself and had not turned into his brother as he was striving to do. But...like Dean said, anyone would have had that reaction under those circumstances. (I can't imagine!)

I don't usually read many third season stories or even watch the episodes as I didn't like how the season ended, it haunted me during the summer.

When I saw you had written a tag for the 'Ghostfacers' episode, which was one I did enjoy watching, I knew I would enjoy reading it as you filled in missing scenes.

I loved Dean's thoughts and his rescue of Sam, though it was rough as Dean realized he would really be leaving his brother alone when his deal came due. 'Soon he'd be the last remaining Winchester.'

I almost want to go watch this episode again.

-Sitting tied up for an hour in a roomful of grinning corpses while someone was killed in front of you and you were next?

I love the humour in Supernatural but Ghostfacers was probably one of my least favourite episodes simply because all the messing about got in the way of the main themes that make SPN so powerful instead of complementing it - so your fic goes some way to bringing that episode back on track!

That last line packs quite a punch... Good story,

I think I'm one of the few people that really enjoyed this episode! The humour mixed with terror and the intimate use of the hand held cameras. I thoroughly enjoyed the revisit here, as you focussed on the repercussions of Sam witnessing Corbett's gruesome end. Again, bringing to life an aspect of the episode that I overlooked.

I really appreciated how you mentioned Sam's shining here. It seems that recently its all been about demon blood and exorcisms. It would be nice to see a reminder of the old psychic Sam from season 1 or 2, with Dean teasing him about his 'spidey sense' when something feels off!

"He already looked like an orphan," hard hitting line but it really captures Dean's thoughts as he thinks about Sam's life after the deal. A painful realisation. And that last line really packed a punch that left a lasting mark!

Unapologetically tough and realistic read, with the shadow of hell looming. But touching too and it was nice to see the boys like this, the fear and urgency that Dean felt and how his presence calms Sam. Great stuff! Take care, Abbi
