Ah, this was lovely. It's been too long since someone has published a heartfelt BalVaan fic. It was sweet and introspective and, despite the Basch/Penelo, was very enjoyable. I hope you write more BV soon!

Great story! I really liked that it was from Fran's point of view, and the emphasis on her Viera upbringing was interesting. The point of view really allowed the reader to get a glipse of the others, and Fran offered a perceptive window through which to view them. Plus, I love the two pairings you included :)
