A story like a diamond, shining brighter than the sun. Brilliant!

I have to say, your talent has never shone brighter before than it has in this chapter. You've created Amani's character, traversed her through emotions and actions, fully rounded her, grown her, brought her full circle, and wrapped it up all nice and pretty with a bow with a box of chocolates on the side.

The realism of this chapter is particularly striking. The feelings described between Tama and Amani and their origins are the most real feelings I've ever read an author on FanFiciton describe. I'd wager it's actually better than other actual published authors as well, though far be it for me to name who. (*StephanieMeyers*)

I really enjoyed this story, and I'm still flattered that you respect my opinion enough to let me beta it. :) Now to figure out how I can help kick your butt in gear for Pridelanders Part 2...:P

Alrighty then. Another awesome chapter and, if I do say so myself, it was worth the wait.

Amani has surprised all of us, well at least me. I'm so proud of her of how she took charge and forced Tama to talk to her and tell him how she feels. Last scene, that was a little unexpected from those two, but I enjoyed it and had to remember that they are growing up and hormones are raging lol. It was romantic and passionate. I like how she just came out and finally said she loved him :) and then Tama's response to it. He was hiding the whole time like she was and thinking the same thing. They eccept one another for who they are. Quiet people do have power and are smart, but sometimes they just don't know it, and Amani is finding herself :). I like that. For her to ask questions just because she is curious, she got her answers. The tree scene was cute and how they kept missing each other and having mixed emotions.

Tama has a lot of hidden anger aside from what we have seen and it looks like Usiku and Amani have tapped into it and figured it out. (Yes I remember the last chapter from the Pridelanders and that arguement between Tama and Usiku :)...I still read it.) But um, I like how Tama isn't afraid to show his emotions and especially around his girl... I was "aww-ing" through the whole end of the story. Amani took charge! I'm so proud! And now maybe she will have more to say and not be so shy anymore even without Tama being near her. I think she and Nala would be good friends, and not just because Simba and Tama are. I thought that was funny how Tama and Amani could see that Nala was asleep and Simba didn't lol. And Uruzi, man that girl...just rude and clueless. Afya is becoming one of my favorites. She's funny. And I wonder how she really feels about Tama, even though she told Amani to go help if you're going to take that anywhere?

I still believe Scar is Tama's dad/father, whatever you want to call him. The jealousy he has for Simba, his anger spells, and I forgot the other one I had caught onto when I was reading. We need answers lol.

Tama and Amani need each other, they're perfect together. I don't think the chapter was sappy, it had everything the story/chapter needed.

Sorry, just wanted to get that out there. It's the thing that stuck in my mind above all else which is probably the only thing you want to hear. Everything else will be pure, manufactured review goodness.

First of all, that little circle you have goin'on? Afya, Amani, Tama? It isn't blocky at all. You know, it isn't like: bum, budum, budum. It's smooth and it's connected. They each have their own key personality trait that sets them apart, but it flows seamlessly, as expected.

Just saying.

Second: no typos for you. Sorry. None. You're just gonna have to live without them, bud.

Third: Kivuli. Kivuuulliiiii. Yeah, him. You've got a talent for creating interesting and believable characters right off the bat (though I could've gone without his soliloquy). So I don't think I need to get too deep into your character crisscrossing relationships. It's as good now as ever. You just have these specific moments where it jumps out and wails on you.

And fourth...fourth...uh..fourth...

Experiences, etc. If it isn't too much trouble. I mean, this chapter has struck yet another slimy tendon in my arm. It makes it vibrate all violent like and goes straight up to me brain. It makes me want to write again. Obviously not for long, but still.

I've been reading your stuff for a year now and am impressed beyond measure. Not that that's saying anything, of course.
