Okay...I totally do NOT read death fics. But, you got me a teensy bit curious...with the "at a reasonable age" bit. So I peeked. It took me a second read-through to fully understand that Relena, Duo and Heero were TOGETHER. I was thinking it was Duo saying goodbye to THEM as husband and wife. Blame my exhaustion. I understood it when I really paid attention the second time through, and I LOVED IT. No Relena-bashing...you just kinda brought her into the fold, and that's nice to see sometimes. (I'm not one to talk; I so often use Relena as the "pain in the ass" catalyst to help Duo and Heero together. But she's so EASY that way!) I like that you gave everyone HAPPINESS. Damn hard to do that in a death fic, but you SUCCEEDED. I'm impressed!
