I absolutely adore this fic. It's very unique, as I don't see a lot of fics out there with Alec in Clary's place (by that, I mean that he's the human who's ventured into the world of Downworlders and Shadowhunters). It is very well-written, and your extensive and vivid vocabulary and descriptions not only deepen the characterization, but absorbs the reader into the story as well. I like how you've created the mysterious atmosphere. Alec as a mundane is enjoyable and I appreciate how you've still kept him and everyone else in-character. Most importantly, I liked how the characters talk about Bane. Most fics introduce him as the sassy character we've come to love immediately, but he is the High Warlock of Brooklyn after all, and you've managed to portray the enigmatic and dangerous side of his world excellently. I hope to see more of this.
