I love rambley narrative fics! Sometimes they're boring but you write like I do a lot where you sort of just go with it and it's like talking (well, yeah, that makes sense given the whole -idea- of talking through narrative here, but yeah). So no, not boring at all, lovely actually. Your writing is making me melt all over, I must go find more of your fics and spam your account with more notifications... Oh I love it when I find fabulous authors. It takes so much time out of searching for good fics. :)

And yes Bakura, it does hurt to be as stupid as Malik. It hurts because all along you thought he was stupid for falling in love with you. You think he's stupid because he's nothing but a mortal. Yet you failed to realize who's the REAL idiot here. You of all people, Bakura dear, have fallen in LOVE with the idiotic mortal who's cried, and been in pain. You've fallen so hard for him that you cannot kill him for you'll feel pain!

So tell me Bakura. Does it hurt to be as stupid as you are?

Oh my Apollo, I loved this! I absolutly love first person POVs, and this was so perfect! I loved how you made Bakura the sarcastic jerk he is but you still made him vulnerable (Notice how I just used the phrase "I loved" like three times?)

And this was great! It managed to include/hint 3 things I think are really important to Bakura and Malik's characters. Which are:

1. Malik being dark-ish (My only concrit is that "taste for flesh" might have been a bit heavy handed. Malik's not really a sadist, his attitude is more "The ends justify the means" when it comes to getting his revenge. For example, he didn't have a problem with killing Jounouchi and Anzu in order to get to the Pharaoh, but he wasn't randomly killing other people around Battle City.)

2. Hints of Malik having control issues (because he totally does. And it's surprisingly hard to write)

3. Bakura's voice. Being a vulnerable jerk. Because he totally is.

So yeah. Win. Looking forward to more.
