I just found this story and fell a little bit in love. Of course Serena is Daisy with all her messy, shallow, beauty. I'm not sure she's looking in the right place for her Gatsby though.

Dan's literary boner is perfect; it's just so him! He loves books and he loves Serena (because she's the closest thing to fiction, right?).

I like this! I can definitely see Serena as a Daisy figure, especially in Season 3. It seems like she aspires to it, though, not that it comes naturally.

You get Serena's voice down from the first sentence. I love the lines like "That's the kind of stuff that gives Dan a literary boner" and "That's fucking hot" and "All dressed up with no one to fuck." I also really liked "Dry leaves crackle like tissue paper in a Barney's box."

Two nitpicky things - your italics didn't work, and you used the wrong "your" in the italicized section (you put "you're alternative").
