Ahahaha! That was some wild ride! Really entertaining and fun to read. I'm glad all the couples ended up together. I kinda wish Megumi would have softened up some toward Sano though. I love the relationship between the twins!

no! I don't want Enishi with Kaoru. I don't like him. I don't find him gorgeous at all so why do I keep reading in several authors that he's one? Sheesh!

Loved your story! I have been keeping track, reading each chapter as it came out...I love the time skip at the end-it is one of my favourite ways to end a story. Sort of an "how everything turned out" and all. Nice futuristic AU.

And I just love how you started this chapter, that was just sooo cute *pouts* although it's not very cute that Kenshin had his hair cut off *huffs* he sooo would/does not look as good with shorter hair as he did with his orignal length, atleast I think so. That's one of the things I didn't like about the end of the series since his long red hair is one of his best features and come on he's had it since before the war(atleast that's what I've heard happened in the OVA(the short hair), I haven't got a chance to watch or buy the movies or anything like that. I'm not really sure if I want to watch them since I've heard they're really depressing. All I have is the complete anime(1-95) and manga series, and even though I own them I haven't had the time to watch and read them all ') and Sano with longer hair? Now that's interesting lol I'll stop the hair rant before it gets any longer *grins*

I completely loved the reunion between everyone, I know I've probably said this lots of times but I just found that scene with Kaoru and Hibiki(which I'm hyped to see that he has a combination of Kenshin and Kaoru's eyes- so cool) absolutely touching but amusing as well, I just adore how you can make a scene emotional but also humorous at the same time and that goes especially for this chapter.

Kenshin with a British accent? Yeah that would be wonderfully sexy XD And I think that Hibiki's height could have come from Kaoru hehehe I mean come on Sano's how tall, and they're twins soooo it could have by a slim chance been Kaoru's genes, it's just unforunate that she didn't get any of the tallness and Sano got it all but than again that's probably a good thing since she doesn't want to be taller than her husband... Okay I'll stop with that babbling now :P

I can totally see Megumi being the one to propose since one, Sano probably wouldn't even know where to start with that kind of thing, romance wise, hmm I picture Megumi having everything set up and than telling, not asking, Sano that they were going to marry a day before the cermony *laughs* and two, I believe out of both of them, Megumi might just be the more impatient one when it comes to that kind of thing. "We're getting married rooster head, so deal with it!"-Megumi 0_o'-Sano *cracks up*

I can see that Sano and Hibiki have an interesting relationship with each other, loving yet butting heads at the same time hmm I wonder who the kid gets that temper/stubborness from- Kaoru or Megumi? lol but they all three look like they're a pretty happy if a little dyfunctional family :) I really like how Megumi is the one who 'wears the pants in the family', she has them on a short leash eh? lmao poor males! Atleast she's able to keep her husband and son in line. Can't expect anything less from the woman XP

I'm so excited, not to mention extremely pleased, to see that everyone's started a family of their own yet are staying in contact with one another, I'd hate to see them lose their close bonds that were devolped, especially Kaoru, Megumi, and Sano.

The fact that Kenji was showing signs of starting to look up to his cousin/brother was really sweet. It'll be good for him to have another playmate that's only a few years older than him.

I so loved the ending to this chapter/story. I really honestly don't think it's 'lame'. You tied up all loose ends and didn't leave anything hanging.

I haven't read the DGM manga, but I've seen a couple of the anime epidsodes, and Kanda Yuu is definitely one of the nicer looking ones of the series even if he's no Kenshin personality wise but there's always something about the 'bad boys' that just great, especially in anime/manga ~_

Thank you for such an awesome and lovely adventure into the RK world. I enjoyed every single chapter whether sad or happy, it was amazing to read. Once again great work!

Wow now this was a quick update :)

I really liked that instead of continuing right were you left off last chapter, you made it into a flashback, that's nice work. It was definitely very emotional and I could almost feel Kaoru's heartache when she was thinking it was her fault that Megumi was leaving.

I was totally waiting for Sano to ask to go with her when she announced her leaving, so that they could continue their relationship even if he was depressed and angry at her, but it seems he was too upset to talk to her and instead started sulking but I suppose he has a reason to. Good thing he has Kaoru and the others to help straighten him out lol and it certainly surprised me that it was everyone else that suggested him going and not the other way around.

Hmm I think Kenshin's going to have to make it up to Kaoru for missing the birth, even if it wasn't his fault *grins* maybe the next time she gives birth he'll let someone else park the car lol

Even though it makes my head a bit dizzy thinking about it, I'm glad that Megumi has a little bit of herself in Hibiki hehehe wait until he's older and he finds out that he has two biological mothers wow talk about confusing *snickers* and I did realize that if Sano did end up keeping his relationship with her and sometime down the road they decided to get married, Hibiki would be his step-son and his nephew :P Some interesting family ties there that's for sure heh and one special little boy ;)

I really don't think of Megumi being all that selfish with wanting the baby to herself since I'm sure anyone in her place would do the same and every parent, whether by blood or not, always wants to be by their children and keep them to themselves, especially for the first few years of life. Gotta have time to bond and all of that other stuff *shrugs* that's what I think atleast, can't be too sure since I've never had children -'

I found the part were Kaoru wanted to 'help' with dinner freakin' hilarious. Everyone's reactions were very amusing, I mean if even Aoshi won't allow her in the kitchen than that has to say something about everyone's fear of her culinary skills *laughs*

Ya know you've done such a great job with this story and keeping it all in Kaoru's pov but still able to give information about what all of the others are doing and what someone else is feeling even if it's just from her pondering and speculations it's still very nice and unique -

This chapter's ending was really sad but also happy since Sano and Megumi got to stay together but Kaoru got a part of her family and one of her close friends taken away. Hopefully she won't be too lonely with just her and Yahiko living together and won't worry too much about her absent twin, but it sucks that she won't be seeing Sano for years but atleast she'll eventually see him so I guess that's something. And this way her and Kenshin's relationship can progress further without an overprotective older brother breathing down their necks. I'm also glad that it wasn't a mean cliffie either :)

I'm really eager but also sad to read the finale and find out how everything in Kaoru, Kenshin and everyone else's lives has gone. I hope it's a happy ending. I guess next chapter will be it for this story huh? Oh well I'm just happy that I was able to read the story and I can't expect it to keep going and going...XD

To tell you the truth.. I totally understand him.. she didn't tell him a thing! Of course he was upset! I would have been too. And she didn't even try to explain it to him afterwards! I'm not sure I would have gone with her that easily but okay..

They are going to miss little Hibiki though.. I am curious to see how the last chapter is going to turn out (oooooh, the last one :( ) and I hope Kenshin and Kaoru can make more babies ;)
