Great story. Just watch out, every now and then there are minor spelling errors and once or twice you forgot a word, but other then than, a very good, time-fullfilling story.

Great climax to the story! I really enjoyed how Freddie charged in like the cavalry to save Sam and Carly, yet it took both him and Sam to finally being Cinders down. Nicely done.

You have a cinematic flair in your writing. Several scenes almost seemed as if drawn from a movie.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to check carefully on certain words that sound alike but have very different meanings. Retched basically means attempting to but not succeeding at throwing up. Wretched is what I think your were going for; miserable or worthless. In all honesty, certain words like to and too get me all the time so you're not alone in that. Unfortunately, spell check doesn't catch those.

However, that is a small issue that in no way detracted from my enjoyment of your writing.

OK I don't know if you know the anime Death Note or not but in that show theres a guy that kills criminals and he goes but Kira (Killer)so I just think it's funny cuase this would make Sam Kira :)
