This is a lovely story. Set slightly to early according to the book, but I like it that way. It makes sense for him to have that moment of hesitance after Gandalf's death, and I like the way you handle each of the characters. Excellently done!

Think this must be one of the best stories I've read for a long while. Your characters were beautifully drawn with a sensitive and caring touch. Your description of the Sea Longing and its affect on the Elf was sympathetically written, the fact that it was almost a welcome state (not the 'bout of flu' illness other writers describe)made a welcome change and it was so beautifully done. (Sorry, I think I've said that already). Hope you will write more stories as this site needs writers like you.
