I was thinking of you, and how much you helped inspire me to write a few years ago. :) We still have different fandoms we follow, but this story caught my eye! I love the I, Robot book, with the logical puzzles and funny moments in it. QT-1 was so memorable! This story really turns things on end, giving a taste of his perspective. I love this line:

"...slipping into their peculiar comas".

Was a lovely combination of words. :) QT-1 deciding the humans were content struck my "ear" too- the idea of a robot assessing a human's reactions and assigning them an emotion. I love that.

It's a tad bittersweet, because he's stuck there in the end maybe finally wanting a real response, while earlier in the story he sees the silence as wisdom...but maybe I'm reading into thins. Your writing is quick and precise, and you don't throw any extra words in. It pulls you along as soon as you start reading.

You are a very talented writer. Thanks for sharing. :)

I like this. A lot. I'd love to see this expanded. A pity you weren't given more words to work with!
