I may be one that only writes happy things, but I just LOVE you're style The way Bakura is so angry, judgemental, cocky... He just always knows who he is and... ahh schucks, I'm much better with Malik. But still, you just characterize everything SO WELL. IT'S NOT FAIIRRRR.

Plus I mean, cigarettes? Not that I support smoking, but just imagining Bakura doing such... SEXXYYYYY!

ARGGHH. The bluntness and just shear... sexiness of that. You just have a way of capturing the moment and teaming it with brilliant words, in the next sentence you go into describing Bakura as "poisonous" and it's all PERFECT... in some mutilated way. (:

On that note, the conversation about mutation and mutilation and scars, and Bakura using Ryou... it was just a really twisted, amazing way to look at things, you know?

Another thing I noticed; once or twice you described Bakura as an "artist". I loved that, because it mentioned Bakura being a spirit so I doubt this was an AU-AU, and I myself have thought that murderous Bakura really does just seem like... oh I don't even know. A painter with blood, or someone that could make something beautiful but still horrid just by cutting something open? Or being able to play with someone's emotions, till they themselves become just shadows of the people they used to be.

I'm actually considering writing a story called "The Puppeteer" where Bakura manipulates and murders the people around him. Me no-no haha!

The ending. Nyaaahhh... Just left me melting...! In that dangerous kind of way. Describing Bakura as a monster, oh how it fits! It's bloody lovely~ ;D ooh that rhymes! I wonder what that would make Malik? Is he a monster for loving one? Or is he just the victim? Ahh~! Fun thoughts. 8D

Hi, why have I not reviewed this yet? Because, yeah. I love it. A lot.

First off, cigarettes. Hot. Instant bonus points for you, right there. And Marik's eyes. The way you described them was just...brilliant. Truly brilliant. His eyes really do seem dead, clear and lifeless. Almost like a blind man's. And I'm rambling, but you really described them perfectly.

And Bakura. That was cute. I'm a firm believer that Bakura is a sadistic bitch through and through, but I can appreciate the thought that he just enjoys Marik as Marik and not as just as a fucktoy.

"and Bakura would say things like 'mutilation is the single most defining thing about a person' and he'd press a small, firm kiss to Marik's head." Hi, can I just say how freaking perfect that line is? I love it so much. It's so Bakura. Like... most "fluff," (even though like, really, this isn't THAT fluffy. It didn't even make me mildly nauseous. I swear) is stupid happiness and rainbows and flowers shit, but Bakura and Marik cuddling while talking about mutilation? I can appreciate that.

And then Marik telling him to stop being so soppy :'] Classic.

And the mutilation/mutation. God, dear, you are just too fucking beautiful for your own good. God, I love both of those words so damn much. And the way you work them together...taking something that should be disgusting into something beautiful. You're an artist, really, you are.

Bakura as the monster he loves so much. I'm sorry if I'm a bit incoherent, but I', trying to convey what I love about this so much and it's hard. It's so contradictory, and that's why it's perfect. Loving a monster. Marik would. Because he's scarred and mutated and mutilated and that's why Bakura loves him too.

And the ending. Really, do I even need to tell you how fabulous you are? I love your little view of Marik and Bakura being messed up but happy in their own sweet little way. It's wonderful, really, it is.

Aw, I liked this. Your stories are definitely getting better and more IC for this pairing- I agree, this is more IC than your stories where they molest and murder each other, because they care about each other and I really don't think they'd do that.

Ya' know, every time I read one of your fics I tell myself, "Wow, that was amazing! I'm going to go write a glowing review right now!". But then, when I go back later and click on the little green button to do just that, I find my mind is totally blank. You just have such a twisted, wonderful, beautiful way with words that I just can't put my feelings toward your writing into words. I guess the thing that hit me the most about this one was just how... exact it was. I mean, every single word either of them said just screamed realism, like it actually could have happened in canon because it's so in-character. So, even though I can't tell you just exactly how I feel about your work, I hope you know how perfectly you're able to touch people. Never, ever stop writing, my dear, because you have a voice that needs to be heard. Thank you very much for sharing it. :)

Actually, I think this is more IC than your fics in which one of them murders the other, because I don't think they'd do that.
