Maybe it's because I've never seen the anime but while other reviewer seemed to find Harima Mika personality "cute", it was the contrary to me, I found her quite disturbing .
On one hand you can see her commitment to each love as something extremely deep considering the lengths she go to "conquer" her love interest, on the other the way she changes herself on a whim and obsess equally about all those love interest...it's not exactly shallow, I would say it's somehow light. Yes that's it. However serious she is each time she is in love, she appears very unsubstantial in the end.
Of course that's considering her as a whole, if I could actually envisage each of the Harima Mika...
anyway. I was less interested or shocked by the guy loving a head because there was less info about the whole situation, on the other hand they seem complimentary in a way, after all if he can like someone with a visage similar to this head, it's not actually the head in itself that's important. It's seems that for the both of them, love is a question of image, one perfect or absolute vision of it that each of them has.

...or I just missed the whole point anyway that was interesting.

I read this straight through, it was so good. I like how detailed you made Mika's childhood! You filled in a lot of missing bits and pieces on your own, and I think, pointed some things out that I never really considered about mika. You know, the mentality to be a stalker. What its like to have a crush. How she counts them! Thank you for writing this! It was a pleasure to read!

Amazing...you captured Mika and her obsessiveness so well...and yet she comes across as actually likable. Astoundingly great work...

You brought out the "totally devoted lover" part of Mika really well. It's also quite sad to see her fall in and out of love and her efforts failing every time she tried to find Mr. Perfect.

Seiji is in love with a head. How creepy. A pity he doesn't see the girl who's been following him around. I like it that you depicted it so well!
