OMG really well written fanfic. No words to describe how skillfully you've created and written this fic. Please continue, I know a lot of your readers are still waiting. Keep on writing :)
Sam chapter 19 . 6/3/2014
I hope you finish this story because I think this would make a better season 9 than LAD, especially with Renee being alive in this one. As far as I believe, Audrey doesn't deserve Jack and should have been the one that got killed off, rather than Renee.

This fanfic season 9 is intriguing and I want to see it finished.

when are you going to write more
GENERAL RIPPER chapter 6 . 7/12/2012
Please continue, I love General Rawlins and how you bases him off General Shepherd, my favorite Call of Duty character. I always hated that stupid plot about Private Military Companies and I always hoped that Starkwood would survive with the mercenaries that didn't know about the plot. It would also be nice if it was revealed that John Quinn, the most badass Starkwood mercenary, was saved by Rawlins and is now working for him. Quinn gave Jack one of the best fights of the series.
KieferAnnie2000 chapter 19 . 3/3/2012
I love what you got on this story.

So far, Jack and Renee are on the run from that rouge General Rawlins and CTU after they are framed for killing Lugansky and Kessler has taken Chloe's family hostage. Things are not looking good. Renee still blames himself for what happened to Jack, which is a sad scene.

Jack and Renee sure want to keep each other safe, even they have classical arguments and such. Jack is still traumatized by Renee's near death than what he appears to be on the outside and will do anything to protect her. Renee wants Jack to go back to the life that he had before the events of Day 8 occurred.

Anyway, Hoffman's death in chapter 13 was an unexpected twist. I knew something those mercenaries had to be working with Rawlins at some point, judging by some of Rawlins' motives and never appeared much of earlier chapters. Now he's tying up loose ends to secure his agenda.

Sarah's health condition and recovery after her gunshot is indeed 24-like. I just glad that she saved Chloe in time from fake NSA agents.

The actions scene was great, including the siege of FBI field office and the rescue attempt of Lugansky. Renee taking out Zahir was the second main antagonist she killed this season, first being Chernov.

Jack saving Renee from Kessler's snipers was thrilling and Renee was severely freightened by the snipers attacking her because of what happened to her 18 months before. Seaver managed to sacrificed himself for her. Jack's kidnapping was kind of like his kidnapping of Charles Logan like you said.

This CTU director Devlin is like Chappelle, which I don't like.

I kind of glad that Lugansky is a good man and that he was never involved in the events in Day 8. Too bad he got killed by Kessler's men.

Anyway, hope to see more of your story soon,

Brendan
KieferAnnie2000 chapter 12 . 2/29/2012
Hey, there. I read chapters 8 to 12. So far, I'm liking this story. Here's my feedback on it.

First of all, I love that emotional Jack/Renee reunion after the tragedy that shattered their lives in Day 8. Jack, while incredibly happy that Renee is alive, sadly has to face the consequences of his actions, which breaks Renee's heart. She really does blame herself for what happened to Jack and doesn't want to lose him. You can tell that both Jack and Renee really do love each other, even though they did some bad things to each other.

You're characteristics in Renee is quite right on. She does tend to get emotional at times, which is understandble, giving the extreme hell she had to endure. But it never lets her interfere to stop from being a badass that she is.

Renee really did a number of Chernov when she killed him at that cemetery while remembering what Pavel did to her in Day 8. Then she tortured Kristen for infomation, which horrifies Sarah. Then she begins to interrogate Kirilenko to save Jack, when she learns that he'll be tranfarred to the Russians, something that was unbearable to her.

Anyway, the scenes Jack and this mob boss Polyakov (if I spelled his name right) we're pretty good as Jack learns everything about Kirilenko and his connections to the terrorist attack in Moscow through him. Then Lovonski and his large number of men arrived. But they we're no match for Jack as he killed many Russian bad guys, including Lovonski. Too bad that mob boss got killed by these men.

Then Chloe tells Jack that Renee is alive when shocks him big time. That was lucky timing on Chloe's part because Jack was able to save Renee from Kirilenko and his men in time during that meeting.

Sarah is really interesting so far. She's a good person who is green, but a smart enough person. Sarah owns a lot of things to Renee, despite her actions on Kristen. Her reaction to Kristen's involvement in her partner's death was genuine. Hoffman seems kind of like Larry to a cretain degree.

I wonder those mercenaries that are attacking the FBI office are working for. Now Jack and Renee will have to survive the whole invasion ordeal. It seems you're right, why do bad things happen every time when Jack and Renee get intimate?

Also, I do hope that a****** Secretary of State gets killed during that assault because of his idea of having Jack transfarred to the Russians. I don't like him.

Anyway, keep up with the great work.
KieferAnnie2000 chapter 7 . 2/27/2012
Hey, that's so far is really an action-packed story. That is definately closely resembles 24. Here's my feedback in the first seven chapters.

Anyway, Renee's revival in the story is kind of like Tony's revival, but with different cricumstances. Too bad the agent who saved her life was killed by that Russian assassin Chernov.

The character's insights and inter thoughts is really a nice idea.

I can tell that Renee is traumatized by her near-death and is desperate to find Jack and save him from himself. It's nice to read that Renee is in action and killing many bad guys as she could.

So far, Jack continues his quest for vengeance for Renee while he thought she was dead. There's something about that Army general who brought Jack stateside to kill this Kirilenko fellow for his role in the events of Day 8 as well as the current situation with Russia and Kamistan. Now Jack is on the run again after being framed for killing the IRK foreign minister.

President Hayworth is such an idiot and I don't like that Secretary of State. But I can tell that he was written to be unlikeable.

Anyway, some the OC characters are pretty good, including Sarah, Hoffman and the first villians (Kirilenko, Lovonski and Chernov).

Your characteristics is pretty good, especially Renee and Jack. Chloe does look like a hard character to write because her personality is so complex and hard to understand.

A lot of good actions scenes, the shootout in Renee's apartment, the mall shooting and Jack going after Lovonski's men. And that the mole in the FBI is revealed by the end of chapter 7.

I'll make some more feedbacks later.
Mountain624 chapter 19 . 1/6/2012
Very good chapter you wrote, man. I know it was a long time since you uploaded a chapter. But I glad to see the newest one yet.

So far, the odds against Jack and Renee is extremly bad against them with General Rawlins and his high-tech mercenaries trying to kill them and the authorities are trying to get them after they are framed for killing Lugansky.

Sarah's medical situation is indeed 24-like. Kind of like Tony in season 3 and Renee in season 7 when she was shot and buried alive.

I sense that Chloe is difficult to write, because of her social skills and awkwardness. Hopefully, Jack, Renee and Sarah will soon be aware of Chloe's family in danger by mercenaries working for that renegade General Rawlins.

Keep up with your work. I can't wait to see what happens next.
MarsStone chapter 19 . 1/2/2012
Wow, it cretainly took you long enough to get that chapter done. I understand real life can get in a way though, so that's cool.

Now, for the chapter, so far it has the potential to be a possible canonical season 9 of 24.

It sad to see Jack and Renee emotionally scarred by everything that haunted them since 18 months ago when Jack tells Renee about General Rawlins and how it all went down within their current situation.

Sarah sure was smart enough to see the NSA agents taking Chloe in custody we're Kessler's men and managed to rescue her from them. But now, Kessler's goons have Chloe's family and Chloe is going will be on the dilemma with her family as well as Jack and Renee.

That CTU director Devlin is kind of like Chappelle and that's not good for Jack, Renee and Chloe.

It is hard to do some creative diffrences, particularly the evasion of the military drone at the Los Angeles airport and Sarah's recovery from her gunshot wound. Some of the medical stuff on 24 didn't make much sense like you pretty much said.

Anywaym try to make your future chapters sooner. Hope to see that next chapter soon since they are about six hours left in that 24 universe.
Lara Cox chapter 19 . 12/31/2011
AMAZING CHAPTER! I loved it! I really loved it! I loved the part where Jack and Renee talked and Renee blamed herself. It almost made me cry.

I truly missed this story! But, hey... real life is more important. I get it.

By the way, I understand about Sarah healing fast. Sometimes you just need to take some license. Sarah simply healed on 24-time.

Chloe is incredibly tough for me too. You wrote her well. Too bad that her family has been kidnpped. Now she'll have to betray Jack to save them.

Random thought: I always thought Kamistan was inspired by Pakistan, a country that also messes with nukes rather openly, since they sound alike and the girl plying Kayla actually comes from Pakistan. And when the late leader of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto was assesinated her husband took her place in spite of having little political experience. (This resembles the Omar-Dalia situation).

Interestingly, the actor who played Omar Hassan and the actress who plays Dalia Hassan are both from India. But the actress who plays Dalia is from Iran.

I'm not sure what to think of that.

Anyway... (longest review ever)congratulations on another great chapter!
DieHardBrendan chapter 19 . 12/31/2011
About time you got the next chapter up. Anyway, it's really a good one.

Lucky that Jack and Renee went to the LAX airport to avoid Rawlins and Kessler's men.

Jack and Renee sure are in a emotional, dark place because of what happened to them 18 months ago. Renee will stay by Jack's side, no matter what and Jack will protect Renee, no matter the cost.

Sarah was smart enough to discover that the NSA agents we're in fact Kessler's men and she was able to save Chloe from them. Smart thinking for a green FBI agent.

General Rawlins and Kessler are getting really tense with each other. That's for sure.

Hopefully soon, Jack and Renee will prove their innocence soon. But with Kessler taking Chloe's family hostage and using them as leverage against her, it's not going to be good for them.

PS, thanks for contributing me in this story.
Rick chapter 18 . 11/20/2011
I absolutely love this story, man. Jack and Renee we're great.

Please, don't abandon it.
Mountain624 chapter 18 . 10/16/2011
This really has been an action-packed story so far. Jack and Renee we're the best in 24.

I know you probably heard this before, but you need to work with your grammer. But the story itself is very promising and I do see this as a possible canonical Day 9 with Renee revived, kind of like Tony was in Day 7, which to me was stupid.

This story has a lot of twists and turns, with some thrilling moments, some great characters (Sarah, Hoffman, Lugansky), some good villians (including General Rawlins, Kirilenko, Kessler and Lovonski), the inner thoughts on these characters and some great Jack and Renee moments, including their emotional reunion.

I hope to see that next chapter when it arrives.
Hope chapter 18 . 9/5/2011
Nice story you got there. It blown me off this planet.

I wanted to write a review on this before I get too busy for college since a friend of mine told me about it around at least a few days ago.

I love the idea of how you revived Renee and that she and Jack are finally reunited, but are face with a crisis that has all odds against them and a haunting past they have to confront. Hopefully, they will find evidence against that vengeful general who's trying to acheive his grand scheme.
