Okay, so first off, I will be reviewing the first two chapters here.

I like where this is going so far, you have an interesting writing style. I like the humor mixed in there. "Ash was FINALLY starting to realize the pleasure that only dreaming of females could bring." I just cracked up at that part, especially imagining Brock saying/thinking that. Anyway, good story so far, and I look forward to reading more!

I don't know why, but the first thing that comes to mid after reading what's here so far is: Ash is scared of Misty! As is scared of Misty! But I wonder if Ash recognizes the feelings he's having as maybe love or a more than a crush or something?

Haha! I loved that last line, it fit so perfectly. I also really liked how you wrote Dawn's character because she is quite sharp when it comes to training and coordinating but amazingly unaware when it comes to other things she hasn't has much experience with.

I always say you cant go wrong with AAML. Thats why Misty got three separate journeys and the other two replacements only got one. It's nice that you want to stay with the series, but honestly I don't think its neccesary. Chances are once Ash beats Paul and advances, he's gonna lose to someone stronger like in all the other conferences he's been in. But ths has been a nice read although I would to see just a little more substance. It's rather fast paced and there are a lot of missed opportunities to go into further detail about how the characters are feeling. It never hurts to strive for more. On op of that, the characters seem fairly spot on in terms of personality, so good job on that.

Nice story, with *shock* intact characters. It's really hard to find an author who will portray Ash and the rest accurately, and you have done so with a touch of humor that really draws the reader in. Great job, update soon!
