chapter 28 was fun to read

so sorry for not reviewing more but I swear i thought I have on chapter 6 but its 19 now and I didn't even realize because I was so wrapped up in the story.
Great fic, well written and the plot is leaving me wanting to read every chapter.

Now, after being 19 chapters into your story I should finally leave you at least a little comment.

First of all: I LOVE IT!

I love your style of writing, I love your character interpretations and I also like Hayd a lot. (I usually can't warm up to OCs because they just appear superficial and flat. But Hayd really is a well-rounded character! Good job! :D)

Well, I obviously love the whole storyline, otherwise I probably wouldn't have kept reading on, haha.

But now I have one complaint: As a German I am offended that you / Hayd think, I love you sounds rude in German! (Haha, just kidding ... I was a little surprised to hear that, though. I would have thought it must sound harsher in Russian than in German. ;) )

Anyways, I enjoy your story very much and will shut up now.

Chapter 20, here I come! :)

Oh, come on...

Hayd was really quite alright until chapter 34. A little too quick to use feminist jargon whenever she had the chance, but I believed you actually pulled it off. And then she had to promise Lucas she wouldn't interfere and break the promise like a fricking pig-headed teenager.

Seriously? She has to be present on EVERY SINGLE JOB Lucas is going to do from now on? You just scrapped all that build-up of her as an emancipated character by making her an over-bearing stubborn woman who doesn't know when to back off.

Right after that, you have her fake her death and put Lucas through six months of hell. I know I know, it's a favourite cliché. But it's very improper for a character like Lucas who's still suffering from PTSD and who lost a lover shortly before meeting Haydence. If Haydence was that stupid to do this to him, Harry certainly wouldn't.

She's pregnant even after she was severely shot... In a typical "duh" scene, Lucas takes forever to realize the child is his... Ruth sniffs about their happy ending... Too many clichés. As if towards the end you ran out of your own ideas.

It makes me angry because otherwise, this was a really good story. I'm definitely finishing it now that I got this far _~

What? Out of all the people, Lucas is going to play Durning? If there was anyone the Russians would recognize, it wouldn't be Hayd, it'd be Lucas North!

Anyway, there were some really great moments up to now. Granted, they were interlaced with a few silly moments, but by and large this story is definitely in credit.

Okay, I wasn't sure about this story because the whole first-aid scene wasn't believable at all, but Hayd's observations in the pub and the end of this chapter were amazing!

What an amazing story...just read it straight through! Made me laugh out loud, almost reduced me to tears...and moved me very much. I love Lucas and always have...I love him even more here and am very jealous of Haydence...lucky lady!
