Love it! Absolutely hilarious, but very sweet at the same time. _

You do such a wonderful job writing from Kolyat's point of view! I'd love to see somebody give him a little more love (and maybe a little smut?) in a few stories of his own!

LOL I l ove how Kolyat is not a fan of Excel 10 a sharp contrast to Morinth's take on them. I always envisioned them as being a industrial techno band myself kinda of like VNV Nation. So it makes so much sense to me how Kolyat perceives it all noise no disernible rhythm.

I loved how you describe his surroundigns it sounds very much like the dives I used to visit back in my younger days (I loved going to see the local metal bands that played at them). Its an interesting take too how you show Kolyat in a crowd and yet entirely alone. For some reason I always got that feeling about him too.

I really loved how in spite of the noise the bustling crowd Kolyat is able to contemplate to compare to step outside the forest so to speak and analyze his father. Sifting through fact from fiction trying to understands the dictonomy that is Thane. How his life in a sense is much like the show that is goign on behind him. Makes no sense and yet it still fits.

I love how he does make that comparison to Thane the father, husband and Thane the killer, hunter. How Kolyat realizes, truly realizes that not everything about his father is so black and white. That he was molded into the assassin, that it is what he knows best and is most familiar with. That by contrast he is still learning how to be a father, and was for a time learning how to be a husband as well. That in many ways he is like a student and his son is now the teacher.

I really loved how it is in this moment that Thane arrives and basically calls Kolyat on his behavior. How they both realize in their own way that they're still learning about themselves and one another. How to be a father and how to be a son. I loved how raw and honest that moment was when Kolyat admits to the reasons behind his anger. How he finally comes clean enabling them both to start to heal and mend.

LOL I love how Kolyat is the more sober of the two at the end fo the night. How he's the one basically watching out for his father instead of the other way around.

*dies of laughter* I loved how Kolyat decides he's going to risk trying to get to know his father by asking about where he learned to strip only to learn a little too much about his parents HAHAHAHA Oh goodness that had me laughing so hard poor Kolyat you do have to give him points for trying XD

OMG! OMG! *Squees* Oh YES! YES! *does fangirl dance* Versat offered her comm frequency and extranet addy! I was so hoping she'd be into him she seemed so sweet and nice. I loved how she didn't give up on him how she understood the situation better than she let on. You really must write more on those two in the future I'd love to read it too!

I love how Thane is all approving and attempting to be sage like but is just wasted beyond words hehe so perfect! I thought it was sweet how in the end it is Kolyat who takes his father back to the Normandy how he's the one watching out for him. I thought that was really touching.

I loved how you show without showing too just how messed up this relationship is. How bad things have gotten and yet how both are trying each in their own way to undo the damage done. I like that its not just Shepard whose struggling with personal problems. How in your universe there are no angels, no devils just people with inner demons, flaws and the need to grow. Even though this was a humourous piece I do love how you have that undertone of darkness to it. How you ensure it all fits in with your main plotline. Best of all I love how you showed through action how Thane and Kolyat are learning from one another and growing as people.

This was amazing as always thank you so much for humouring us and writing this it was certainly enjoyable to say the very least!

This was quite a change in tone from the first chapters, but very appropriate. The scenes with Thane and Kolyat hesitantly discussing their fears and expectations were great. I teared up a bit during Kolyat's initial confession; I'm a sucker for crying or almost crying males.

Despite, or likely because of the cracktastic first chapters, this was a nice examination of the relationship between Kolyat and Thane. They are both difficult to write in that way, so I commend you for doing it so well!

Hahahahahhahahaha... this is complete and utter crack. Seriously. The thought of Thane stripping is so wonderfully out of character, but it would be a hell of a show. WOW. Also, I can't even wrap my mind around an extremely flexible elcor. It broke while I was trying to do it.

Oh wow I love the waitress she sounds so lovely and endearing too Nice name too! I love how Kolyat is just gaga over her XD

Oh no Kolyat thinks Thane is checking her out too OMG! *dies laughing* Poor Kolyat I could see him just staring at him in disbelief and disgust. I loved his take on humans how he doesn't understand the full-figure forms that we can embody how it seems like a hybrid of a human and a volus in his eyes. Its interseting as most humans would compare Drell as a hybrid of lizards and humans too

I love how he's taken in by the beauty of the dancer I loved how you described her through the Kolyat's eyes making her seem so alien, yet so ethereal too. I love how he's trying to wear down his father but in the end he's the only one who seems to be missing the point.

OMG Kolyat! I love how he thinks his father is dense yet he can't seem to see the attention he's gathering either. Oh my goodness he's pulling hte macho man act with the waitress I love how he always wanted to order a double because he heard it in a holovid once that was so adorable.

Oh no the following acts yikes! *dies of laughter* I love how he views the dancers in such an alien perspective proving that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder hahaha and to htink I once envied their photogenic memories after the mental image of the Krogan stripper oh gawd yeah they can keep it hahahhaa

Madame Vocha HAHAHHAHA YES! YES! OH GAWD my poor sides! Oh no amateur night? Oh boy oh dear Oh man poor Kolyat I love how he's just cringing and fear the worse and then-Oh good heavens it is THANE! :faint: I thought they were goign to try and drag him up on the stage for a moment there hahah oh man this is a million times worse *dies laughing so hard*

Oh no oh wow! WWOW! Thank you for making me choke on my tea from laughing so hard honestly wow. Poor Kolyat he thought he could terrify and disgust his father beyond measure but it would seem Thane has him beat hands down.

Oh man I feel so awful for that poor kid you have no idea XD And yet I can't stop laughing my fool face off this is so freaking hilarious! Wow this is so brilliantly done!

Aww I love how Versat was watching out for Kolyat keeping an eye out for him like that. I loved how she's so sweet about it trying to take the edge off while helping him through the worse of it. she sounds really sweet I'd love to read more on her and Kolyat in the future even if its another brief encounter 3

I loved how she's just O.o at his admittance. Though Kolyat thinks she's reliving the memory I sorta get this feeling that she's piecings together instead. I loved how Kolyat is having second thoughts about his attempts to ruin things with his father. How he's realizing that with so little time left is it really worth venting out his rage. I love how you show him starting to grow without ever straying from who he is. I loved too how Versat doesn't buy his lame excuse how she's piecing things together with the knowledge of his relations to Thane. My word I'd love to see more of her she sounds like she'd be a really neat character.

While Kolyat's response to the sight of his father was immature one can't blame him for it. He's been through a lot he's wasted and he'st trying to wrap his head around the weight of it all. I love how you managed to show all of this without bogging the reader down with information. His actions speak volumes and I thought it was so perfect how you show him running not necessarily from his father as much as from himself. Its neat to see how different and yet simliar he is to his father-preferring to run as opposed to facing the truths. Though he's also different in that he acknowledges that he has to work things out and is willing to step back and think it through-he just needs a little space.

I cannot wait to read the conclusion to this piece it was so wonderfully entertaining and powerful too (the ending).

Oh my goodness you wrote it! :cackles: I'm so pumped! I love how Kolyat tolerates his father simply out of respect to his mother's memory. How he's expecting awkwardness and just dreading every moment of it. I loved his reaction to his drunk father all calling out to him haha its like he's a deer in headlights hahahaha

HAHA i just have this mental image of this restaurant being McDonalds of Mass Effect XD I love how Kolyat is determined to make his father's night a night from hell XD Ah if only h e knew hahhaha

Oh my goodness their server is a cougar HAHAHHA Oh this is so hilarious and Thane's just too wasted to even register her presence (I love how Kolyat's respect for his father is somewhat repaired because of it). Meanwhile Kolyat is just O.; Can't look away hahahha Oh this has me laughing so hard I love it!

Though I have to say I like how you shift things from humourous to serious without ever missing a beat. I loved too how Thane is trying so hard to make an effort and in spite of himself Kolyat is going along with it.

Poor Kolyat I love how in spite of his denial its clear he still wishes he could connect with his father in some way.

Oh goodness she left her number XD HAHAHHA though poor Kolyat I think his plan is about to back fire on him too HAHAH Oh goodness I'm scared to ask what he had in mind for phase 2 (please say you'll be writing that part too!).

This is incredibly funny so far. However, as funny as the situation may be, you've managed to include some real warmth between Kolyat and his father at times. I'm eager to see how completely this backfires on Kolyat in the end.
