Reviewing to say I am following this story! I love it! Best survivor fanfic out there.

Very tense story which seems to have stopped for a year, could you carry on? Cos I'd like to see more of this fun drama.

Oh well, don't worry about making shorter chapters if you don't have time to make big ones. It's better not to rush things if you want to have a really good story, in my opinion.

During this whole chapter, I was curious. Daisy is discovered, alright ? Then, will she be eliminated ? I mean, if the ravager is discovered, there's not much point in keeping them around. I guess. '

I really think it would be truly awesome if Waluigi were the winner of this game. As much as I like Toadette and Birdo, I still think he deserves it.

I understand Junior. After all, his father isn't here to gain money to take care of Lemmy's condition, but he's in the competition because his son wanted to see him win this before he died. That's somewhat strange on Lemmy's part... But I'm not him, si whatever.

Rosalina's backstory was almost touching...NOT. XD

But I can understand that she was a bit pushy and everything. However, you clearly showed us that she was going to inflict some damages on poor Toadette, so maybe she wasn't really sincere when she said she would only use her powers during challenges...

Funky is still a 'meh' character to me. Hopefully, he goes home soon as he really isn't interesting at all. At least, Ed is a strategist and Bro Mama a force to be reckoned with. Funky has just some abilities in water challenges, that's all.

I don't have anything else to say about Bowser, Birdo, Toadette and Wario, since my opinion on them did not change.

God BLESS you for getting it right. You've finally, for the first time I've ever seen, captured some subtlety and actual reality in your reality TV remake.

First off, your version of Survivor is a great achievement in itself. The new elements provide limitless ideas and conflict, all new challenges and other such things, but it still feels like Survivor.

And second, it's... subtle, yet hectic and lively. Your characters aren't all cardboard and just talking heads for your own character ideas, they're actually believable and somewhat in character. Also, I believe Bowser to be very in character, or at least he fits the character I'm planning to go for. Some are very much OOC, such as Rosalina, but it fits into place, and it all adds to the story element.

This is thus far the perfect Survivor fic. Keep it going.

Now I wanna answer your questions.

My favorite character: As I stated (and apparently it's a big shock cos no one seems to agree) my favorite character is Bro Mamma. She's a bad-assed, unflashy yet still lively, hip and characteristic soldier woman. I can practically design a whole fanfiction off of her. XD I'd love to see this character taken to whole new levels in and outside of this story. I'll admit she's rather under-designed and irregularly used, but maybe that's just me wanting to see her more.

I also like her style of gameplay. She's laying low, but not coattailing and is definitely strong. The challenge where she ran laps around Waluigi and Peach made me adore her. "Hi Waluigi!" "You do realize how annoying that is?" "Nope, not at all!" She's also not a b**ch either, but speaks her mind and will do some level of strategic planning. She's a minor character, so unfortunately I don't see her winning but I'd love it. Hell, I don't usually like other reality TV people this much.

I also love Bowser. Mostly because he's exactly how I plan to interpret him in an In-progress fic of mine on the Smash Bros side of things. No one ever pauses to think that Bowser has to have SOME level of freakin' brains in order to almost succeed in these detailed attempts to take over a kingdom, or to, jeez, I dunno, RUN a freaking kingdom. I don't label him a villain in this, though. He's an extremely intelligent, and actually goodhearted player of the game with strategy, skill but no hard feelings- he can even defend Rosalina to some level without being a kiss-ass or ally. He's sort of Switzerland in the arguments as well. He may have a good shot at this. Also love the "Peachy Cream" scene. "By the way, that took me two seconds to think of."

My favorite villain? That's a tough one. You made your villains... not that hateable. Well, okay, I hated the hell out of Rosalina. I've never felt the urge to want to burn one of my all-time favorite characters alive so badly. But I still really liked her when she's sane. (She seems very... bi-polar. Like me. :3) The art scenes and the organization and leadership of Outcast seems like the real her wanting to come out. Especially now that you hinted at behind the scenes tampering.

But I think the best villain is Waluigi, or at least what can be considered a villain, which in this case means 'someone with no regard for others or moral walls, someone who just sees this as a game'. And I see that in him, Wario and Rosalina, and to some extent Toadette (although she's not as outright about it). Waluigi isn't hateful or sadistic, he just sees this as a game he's going to win, and nothing else matters. He's got great strategies but is a respectable game player, but still a seedy, manipulative guy.

Now who needs work? Like I said, the sort of OCs (Ed, BroMma) don't get as much attention as the real characters. (Had to check to make sure BroMma was an OC. ;P) And I LIKE the OCs. Ed's pretty cool, BroMma kicks ass, and I wanna see them improved more- they're OCs so they need it since they had literally no work by Nintendo. So remember that.

Also, here's a tip every character could use to make it more realistic- if no one would say it on the actual show, it's not realistic. Lines like "Report: Is Bowser crazy? Sources say yes," are really funny but, come on, contestants don't really talk like that most of the time, especially not ones who seem as basic and calm as Ed (who said that line I had to ad lib XD)

But yeah. While I'm here I'll talk about all the remaining contestants, just a line or two.

Bowser Jr: He's a bit of a tool, but seems realer than most, somewhat nice and moral, but still seedy. Like Anakin, sorta. I think the family issues need to be touched up a bit, so yeah, that'll define him more.

Wario: Meh, he annoys me, but I can tolerate him. He's a good villain, but his idol get by random is just getting to be lucky b**ch by now. Make him work for his buck like the Bowser incident.

Toadette: I like that she's finally... doing something! Chrissakes, I could tolerate her whining to a point but now she's becoming... vital and not just a coattail winner. Her last two moves were very intelligent.

Birdo: ...is she married to Yoshi? She doesn't act like it that much at all. Or is she just a worker at his farm or something? I like the latter better. But I'm pretty sure it's the first. But yeah. She's also down to earth but definitely lacking in the gameplay section. Touch her up there, will ya?

Funky Kong: He's a likable guy who seems nice enough, is a little-known challenge dominator, and gets by on little strategy and much physical, if hidden, skill. I had a feeling he couldn't really be faulted on the whole Daisy thing just cause he didn't seem like the guy (but for Chrissakes that was built up so much I was worried he raped her for crying out loud. o.o Sorry if this is too frank)

So yeah, there's my view on the contestants still in. I'd say you limit the Redemptions a bit, just bring one in and one Tasmanian Devil Wrecker what's-the-name-agains.

As for where this story seems to go, I'm going to say that Wario's wise-assedness and smirky overconfidence is getting him sent home next, to the shock of everyone. A less major cut's going to happen like Birdo and then a somewhat fall from power to the grave for Bowser Jr. after some family drama. Then a redemption, DK comes back and Ed gets blindsided and then Toadette loses her footing and goes home. That leaves Funky, BroMma, DK, Bowser, Waluigi and Rosalina. I'd say this is around the time that we bid adieu to Funky- his stragegic floundering will leave him without cover. Then DK's grandpa goes into critical condition and the ER and DK must leave. I'd say this for Lemmy but Bowser wouldn't be able to bring himself to leave. And it's bound to happen to either DK's gramps or Lemmy (daw Lemmy. I liked him even before he was going to die) Then at the final four shit gets real, pardon my french. I'd say BroMma goes home but... doesn't fit. So I'm going to say Rosalina meets her end here, but does something Fireworky, not like burn the camp down but comes out of her evil cubicle and does some more In character thing against the hosts as revenge for putting a mask on her. Then in the top three, they have the endurance challenge. I'd say that... from there it can go either way. Waluigi could be recognized as a good player and get the win (but not win the challenge) BroMma could, but not as likely, be the sort of wild card who wins the endurance challenge and lets Bowser go reluctantly, it'd keep suspense. Or Bowser could get in by winning the challenge (the only way he could really ggo into the finals due to him being a likely juryswayer) and win the love of the jury. But that'd be predictable but something we'd love to see. But that's maybe just me being wishful. Seems like the most likely way to go.

Anyway, that's my take. This is a fine, magnificent story and the best Survivor take I've seen ever. I'm available for any little help you need, if you just need ideas to bounce off or anything, really. I just wanna see more of the story.

Anyway, go BroMma, and Mindblower has succeeded in its attempt.

I'm definitely a little bit disappointed that there was no elimination, but a good transition chapter nonetheless. I was surprised that Toadette's "explosion" didn't happen, and I'm really curious as to what will happen in the next episode. Please don't let this Fanfiction die, even if it does take a long time between Chapters. It's definitely one of the best, if not the best, story I've ever read (can't think of a better one) on this site.

On to my character opinions!

I'm still not really buying Junior's explanation about Lemmy, simply because, if he were a good person, he would dedicate his game to his dying brother regardless of whether or not Lemmy wants him to. And if Lemmy's already getting top medical care, then what cause is Bowser's money going to? Doesn't make much sense to me. And will we get to meet Lemmy via video conference? That would be somewhat interesting. Maybe a Koopaling visits the tribe so we can see if Lemmy's not alone in his hate of Junior?

Here are my two cents on the characters most recently eliminated, Peach, DK, and Yoshi.

Peach: I think you'll probably only bring back one of her and DK, but I'd be surprised if it were Peach, and I'll explain that below. But she seems like too underdeveloped a character, and I can see her, Birdo, Bro Mamma, and Ed leaving soon but not returning.

DK: I think you'll probably bring him back in the next redemption challenge simply because of the whole Cranky Kong situation, but I think that he needs to have a vendetta against Wario. A kind of sick, twisted vendetta that consumes him, resulting in his elimination soon. Actually, maybe it would be better if Funky Kong had that vendetta and he gets eliminated as a result. After all, Funky Kong is denying Cranky Kong (his relative) the money so he can start his musical career. I could realistically see DK winning the game.

Yoshi: Hmm...I think there's about a 50/50 chance Yoshi comes back. He is a Rosalina supporter, which means that he may have a role to play, but there are a few other characters who support her as well, so he may become obsolete.

I never review stories. I haven't used my FanFiction account in probably almost a year, and almost never visit this site anymore. I remembered this site today and wondered if any of my favorite authors have updated, and unfortunately, the answer was no. This one is the only one I'm reviewing out of my favorite stories, simply, because it's the best. It looks like it's going to be insanely long if it ever gets updated again, and has the potential to be one of the best stories on this site.

But it looks abandoned to me. No updates in forever, no word on it's status, and it looks like you've moved on.

I beg of you, Mindblower, to reconsider this story and update in the future.

This chapter:

My favorite character: Bowser, by far. I love the scholarly king and how he provides a rational mind to the group, and I remember when I was reading this story all those months ago how I was BEGGING AT THE SCREEN for Bowser to be revived, and was ecstatic when he was (if I remember correctly). It's the reason why every time I come on this site (not that often, mind you) I pray for this story to be updated, just to read more about Bowser and Rosalina and how they fare in their tribes.

My favorite villain: Is there more than one? Rosalina, of course! I was skeptical at first to see a character with godlike power join Survivor, and absolutely loved the scene when Funky Kong nuked his Torch to banish Rosalina, and her words of second place. I was happy to see her return to the tribe, this time having to float on immunities and wit to remain in the game, and I hope to see her be finished off late in the game, in a similar way to her first defeat.

Who needs work: The random characters, I guess. Ed and Bro Mamma seem like the least developed in the story, kind of like filler characters. I kind of like it this way, with certain power players like Rosalina getting most of the attention, intelligent characters like Bowser and the Kongs manipulating the weaker characters like Ed and Bro Mamma to vote off certain characters.

Who's winning this? I think Bowser, if he can get some social skills under his belt. Rosalina will never get voted the victory by a jury of the people who absolutely despise her, but i see her getting second or third. Bowser or a Kong are the logical choices in my opinion, as Bowser is the brains of the game while Funky is the strongest and the most socially apt. I think the best part of the story is that I have NO IDEA who's going to win.

So please, I love this story. It's one of the best 3 unfinished stories I know on FanFiction, and the only one I'm reviewing. This story has so much potential it's unreal, and I beg of you to continue this epic.

Please, Mindblower, this story CANNOT go to waste. It would be a travesty.

I've already seen a twist like that in a Survivor before (and let's say that I was rather disappointed, because in the survivor in which I've seen it, the people who were taking the place of the ancient contestants had no merit (yeah, it was almost impossible for the previous players to keep their place into the game)) and I must say that I was delighted to see that you use something like that, because you did it almost exactly like I would have done it (with the exception of giving immunity to the players you made their comeback, even though it's quite understandable seeing that Rosalina is one of the players who came back.).

Anyway, I'm also glad that neither Diddy nor Luigi made it, because they were not that interesting. Maybe it would have been cool to choose Toad (since he was the first eliminated player) but I'm not too sure. Daisy as a ravager... Oh well, she was the best remaining player who fitted this title.

About the elimination : I'm glad Yoshi is gone (Was it what you meant when you said that Toadette would play a major part in the elimination of someone I didn't like ? I assumed it was Daisy, but wow, you got me good. ).

As for Peach and Donkey, needless to say, I'm pretty disappointed. Even though I kind of see it coming, since they weren't that important in the last chapter. Additionally, I like the fact that you try to share the spotlight evenly. They have had enough throughout the whole story, in my opinion.

Here I go with my top-3 and bottom-3 :

Top 1 : Toadette : I never thought she would get that high on my favorite list, but she did. I'm rather impressed at the moves she pulled recently to be honest, and that's why she bacame one of my favorite players. Plus I just like her attitude in general.

Top 2 : Waluigi : An enigma. He never reveals his plans but he anticipates so many things that I have to put him here. He is somewhat mysterious, tricky and overall mostly clever.

Top 3 : Birdo : A balanced player, even if she is on the weak side. Birdo doesn't show too much strenght during challenges so she is not seen as a threat. I personally think she has what it takes to reach the top of this competition (maybe not winning it though), as she was never ever targeted by anyone. I like her personality in general too.

Bottom 3 : Bowser Jr : Once again, I find him rather selfish, paranoiac, and too fake. His game isn't really good either.

Bottom 2 : Rosalina : Okay, at first I thought I could give her another chance, but well, she is too violent for my tastes. I mean, she shouldn't be authorized to use her powers to hurt the other players (I'm fine with her using them during challenges though.).

Bottom 1 : Ed : I don't know why, I just don't like him at all. There's not much to be said bout him. He is the character I like the least.

I reviewed a few chapters ago, and my opinions on most of the characters are pretty much the same as they were before. However, a lot of them have either been intensified or subdued by what happened in these last few episodes.

Wario: I've been thinking about what he's done in the game so far, and I realized that he's not done too much wrong. Sure, burning the torch may have annoyed a lot of people, but he needed to do it to survive...Still like Funky Kong more than him.

Yoshi: Bringing back Rosalina was the first "bad" thing I've seen him do. I thought he was a decent leader before, now I don't like him because he didn't try to fight Rosalina.

Bro Mamma: For some reason, I've begun to become more neutral on her than disliking her. I think it might be because I've begun to dislike more characters.

Peach:...I guess I like her...she's not been developed too much.

Toadette: AAARRRGGGHHHH! More annoying than before! I thought Rosalina was bad...but I'd rather see Toadette go home. She only made one somewhat strategic move in splitting the votes for Waluigi and Bowser Jr. Using the spa tickets was a dumb ploy that Ed fell for.

Ed: I've begun to see him as a complete and utter idiot. If you want to vote for someone, then just do it! Don't try to steal their spa tickets! Foolish decision.

Daisy: I've begun to like her more as an evildoer. Looking forward to that role in future episodes.

Bowser Jr.: My opinion of him has plummeted. His own brother has a brain tumor, and he's going to use the prize money on Chain Chomp experiments? What is wrong with him?

Rosalina: I'm finding Rosalina more tolerable than, say, Toadette or Bowser Jr. Why? Because she's at least logical. Her logic is cruel, but it isn't annoying. She's playing the game as it should be played. She hasn't done much wrong since she returned.

Bowser: I think this is obvious. I like him more. Lemmy. Enough said.

DK: (see above, replace Lemmy with Cranky Kong)

Funky: Zombie Survivors. Just what we needed. As if the game wasn't complicated enough.

I agree, this game is very hard if you ask me. And I was shocked with the outcome. And it REALLY REALLY REALLY sucks that Rosalina is back, she's such a meanie.

In my opinion, I think this should be the only redemption challenge, just because it would be kind of unfair is someone gets voted out, then comes back, then gets voted out, then comes back. But, it's a very interesting twist.

I hope Toadette stays longer, she is really smart and I hope she uses her spa pass soon. I like Bowser Jr. also and I'm positive he will stay longer.

I want Ed voted out Soon. And I'm glad that there wasn't an auction this episode, and there was a tribal council.

Anyway, I did really enjoy reading this episode. And I liked the Present Challenge and what Toadette won could be pretty useful for her, and what Birdo asked Jeff was pretty helpful too.

Funky Kong is now in trouble because everyone knows he has won the most challenges (Or almost everyone) And Toadette is some what in trouble, but has her spa pass. The question: Who would she take with her?

I found the challenge at the end very interesting as well, the digging challenge. I didn't expect the vote for Bowser Jr. though, Toadette was smart!

So it looks like according to the poll, Bowser Jr., Yoshi, and Waluigi will last longer. Update Soon!

I'm actually pretty happy to see this chapter and its contents, because it radically changed my perception of the game. Birdo, Bro Mamma, Funky and Ed were given more spotlight for once (since Yoshi isn't the leader of the tribe anymore, he cannot act like Rosalina did anymore either.).

And, I must say that I am pretty happy to see that Daisy left the game, because she was really annoying.

As a side note, did you activate the profanity filter ? It does seem so, because it looks like some words are missing (mostly during confessionals by the way.).

Anyway, my guess is that Birdo either removed the curse for all of them when she bashed Rosalina's statue or that since the tribes changed, her curse isn't dangerous anymore.

My favorites are still the same (aka Peach, Birdo, Toadette, Waluigi and Wario.), but I saw improvement with Bro Mamma, Bowser Junior and Birdo during this chapter. There are still many things you can do with Funky Kong, and I'm not sure about Ed. He still is pretty blank (at least, in my opinion.).

Of course, I would advise you to be more careful. While you gave more screen time to some of the undeveloped characters, you stopped to focus on the other ones (mostly Peach and Donkey during this chapter.).

Well, maybe you did it on purpose, but... Let's say it would be best if everyone had the same screen time.

Well so much for peace. ALL HELLS BREAK LOOSE D:. I really don't know who's gonna go now. But I'm liking Toadette more then the rest. I like the villains, but not the both horrific, spazzy types like Roaslina. *Mumbles something bad about Rosalina*. My guess on who's leaving next is...

Possibly Toadette if she doesn't find something to keep her safe. But I'm sticking with Toadette as the winner. :)

:) I like how your story features other kind of people then the usual people you find in a Mario Survivor story. My prediction on the next to go is probably Birdo or Bowser Jr..

Sorry 'bout that. I think I shortchanged you on my last review. On the screen I typed it it looked like five lines. Characters I like:

Funky Kong: Didn't really get why he lied to Rosalina about Daisy, I thought it hurt his standing in the game. I really like his laid-back personality, I hope he wins.

Yoshi: I know, I know. Yoshi always wins these contests...way too popular...but I really like how you portrayed the "dark side" of Yoshi as being a little bit like Rosalina. But I think he's different. Most importantly is that he has a conscience, unlike Rosalina. He knows that what he's doing might offend people, so he tries to subdue it. He seems to be a polarizing character.

DK: He doesn't seem to have much of a personality yet, but I think he might have a shot at winning it. Giving DK a bigger role might be something you would want to do in future episodes, just because he's one of the last two loyal Hero Tribe!

Daisy: While she does seem a little messed up, I like how you write her character. It will be interesting to see what she does in future episores (if there are many more for her). I doubt she'll win, though.

Wario: Strange character to like, eh? He seems to make strategic moves that will blatantly annoy people. I'm wondering whether he'll be able to do well in his new tribe. It's more of a love-to-hate-him type thing.

Characters I don't like:

Bro Mamma: I've never heard of her. I'm not sure if she's an OC, but I've never been an OC fan. I feel that's the reason I'm reading the Mario Fanfiction section.

Ed: (see above)

Toadette: Just an annoying, whiny character. I'm really hoping she leaves soon.

Neutral on (or my opinion changes daily)

Peach: She seems to have two personalities: the dumb blonde and a serious player, so I'm not sure what to think of her...

Waluigi: I really like strategic players in general, but he seems to be a sleazeball of a player. That's probably because I've seen him in the games. He just sends off a more sneaky and evil vibe than Wario in this Fanfic.

Bowser Jr.: I've never really liked that runt after he replaced the Koopalings, the best villains of the Mario series. Even better than Bowser. But I like what you've done with him in this story.

Birdo: I can't get a good feel as to what kind of character she is yet. Can't really say.

Something I might change: Expand more on Birdo and DK. They seem like they could have a bigger influence than they do.
