This story made me tear up. It's really sad, I think it portrays what Sirius would feel at that time really well.

this is a VERY good story! You've captured Sirius's emotions perfectly, and made all the characters very real - well done! Writing style is also very good - easy to read but not too simple! Only thing, do you think you could do a sequel or a second chapter? Cause it kind of ends on a cliffhanger, and I'd be really interested to know how James reacts, and how they all make up again!
