It was lovely except for the ending it confused me. Did Spock die or was Jim dying either way that sucks? But I loved it regardless their thy'las I think is how that's written lol.

Wow, so awesome. Had a lot of thoughts about this story but not sure how to express them. It fits the mood of that scene in the movie very well. I really, really love this Kirk and Spock. Well done.

I love this story. This beautiful mixture of romance and melancholy makes me want to cry and smile at the same time. I have just read it again while having my morning coffee and decided I'm not going to do any work today, just drink more coffee and read. So thanks for helping me to make my mind up about taking a day off ;) Seriously though, I think you captured the personalities and the feel of that moment perfectly. Could you please write more like that? That's my favourite kind of story - scenes from the original with your own interpretation.
