I enjoyed reading this story very much; I enjoy it when FF writers put characters in situations that would be unlikely, but difficult to deal with. The characters, from what I can discern, are still very much themselves with a few changes that took place in their lives over time, yet this makes them so much more then mere characters.

You've gone it complete and utter bullshit territory.

I'll try to not sound like a troll here, becasue I'm honestly not just trolling, I've been reading your stuff for some time and to me it seems to have taken a pretty steady pace down hill, as in hard to notice.

I'll start with my biggest problem, Rogue losing her head (Should not be literal), that really should've killed her as I'm pretty sure there's a big differenc between having a mutant healing factor and being a Homanculus from Fullmetal Alchemist. It would have made more sense to have her rip it off as she grabbed the guy and had her hand blown off, that way should wouldn't have lost her brain. Also to maintain her personality, would'nt she need genetic memory? When did she get that?

My second big problem is with all the OCs, how many are their again? 12, 15? It's confusing and hard to keep track of which brings me to another point, you said at the start that Wollverine and Shield took a rather large bat to Hydra, right? Yet they still have the resources that they'd be able to make clones of all the X-men, accelrate their growth, and have them replace the originals? Which brings me to yet another point, the 'third gen' child has GOT to be messed up, right? I mean, genes from Silver Fox, Wolverine and codded growth accelration, there is a point where impressive genetic engineering becomes sinmply fan-wanking the villains.

Another more general point I'd like to make, we is the developing romance? I mean I just don't see where they develop their feelings, Laura and Alex, for example, they each think the other is hot, kiss and are suddenly in 'true wuv' (and she liked the way he smelled, what is this, Twilight?), one kiss is hardly the basis for that, also Rogue and Gambit seem to be tired with Nightcrawler and Shadowcat for flimsy reasons to be together.

But still, credit where credit is due, your earlier chapters (in your other stories) where well done and thought out, I'd also heard of that Rogue origin story and liked that you worked it in, also you have delivered a high level of squick, with the X-23xS-4 couples and the child, makes me shudder, so you have done something right, even if the whole, 'perfect eternal warrior' reeks of 60s scifi b-movie plot about clones taking over the world.

I really think that this has gone too far to be taken seriously, once again I'm not trying to just troll and flame you here, I hope you take what I've said into account.

Wow... just when I think it can't possibly get more intense...

That was a long hiatus, and an incredible way to come back from it.

The little moments between characters are a large part of what really make this chapter shine; whether it's the trust involved in Laura and Alex holding each other's "weapons" or the subtle differences in Rogue and Remy's interactions when she's about to gamble her life, the moments bring the characters depth and make them really live.

And of course, the plot is utterly insane, and I'm riveted. I think the biggest bombshell for me might have been Silver Fox, but the others were quite shocking, and they only serve to fuel my curiosity for where else you're going to be taking this story...

This entire story-line is beautifully, almost poetically, told. It has a sort of harsh, dark, but oh-so true humanity to it. The confusion of emotion and pain, love, and hate. The definition, or lack there-of, of all these things. How do we capture such complicated thoughts? I think you do, in a subtle, smooth kind of way that is so hard to describe. I hope to see much more from you, your potential and talent is crazy. Update soon!

Speaking of mind-blowing, is that warning sign for landmines? That's the only thing I can think of with a reference to toenails, but it doesn't fit with any signs for landmines I've seen.

I've seen Azezal appear in fics before usually connected to Kurt and/or the brimstone dimmension he teleports through is this "hellboy" part of the x's or does he just want logan for some other reason?

Well I really liked that you gave Laura a mini break down cause it shows her human-feely side that we don't often get to read about and the hug was all touchy and I liked that Remy feels like he found a home especially since before just starting the mission he still thougt he could "be fed to the dogs" if push came to shove. so no powers for them right? with the disk things- just asking cause alex avoided rogues arm but it could of been he just didn't know they didnt have powers or reflex right.

The other x23 almost sounded friendly towards laura?
