this is one of the best things ive ever read. it made me laugh so much and it holds a special place in my heart but that ending absolutely destroyed me, even though this is my second time reading it.

Wow, this was really good. What a way to leave somebody hanging tho, but I have a suspicion Leo will be fine with that time-refersing egg thing floating around. I'm really curious how it would have played out tho.

But this fic, gosh, I really enjoyed reading it this last few days. It made me really appreciate the boys in ways I hadn't before. Like, Raph was never a favourite of mine, he's mostly just portrayed as kinda mean a lot of the time. But your Raph, he's just a simple kinda guy. He doesn't need much, just living his life. Made me look at his character in a whole different light. Leo too. He never really gets any real character building. But in this fic I felt like I actually learned to understand him better. Everybody actually had really great character building. Kinda wished you had went and gone a little deeper with Don's fear of being forgotten, but eh, the little we got was still really good none the less. I really felt for the boys. I wanted them to be okay a lot of the time and reassure them and such. Their feelings are valid.

I also really didn't care what incarnation of the turtles you were using cause you really made them feel like their own well-rounded beings. They were just one version of the turtles and I totally accepted it from start to finish. I didn't think about it at all. They were just the Turtles and I was totally fine with everything you threw at me.

But yeah, really good fic. Made me laugh on multiple occasions and hold my breath on other. Sometimes things got a bit too cracky and random, but there was always a really amazing character moment at the end of it and I just loved every single brick you laid out for these boys to climb up on. I just really like the people you made them into, just really grounded and gut wrenchingly tragic from time to time. You really didn't have to say much to imply how sad their existence is half of the time. And you didn't, which I appreciated.

Also, thank you for letting them be huge big jerks from time to time. I was always happy when I was able to disagree with them with how they handled themselves and others since that made them feel real. Nobody has to walk down the same road all the time. It's really boring otherwise. And also just, people are different from one another. I'm glad you seemed to understand that without being judgemental about it in the subtext. People are jerks and horrible sometimes, but that's just the way life is. Nobody's perfect. Also, their freaking teenage boys. It's in their DNA to be horrible dumbasses.

Also, I was really glad when you quit it with Raph drinking habit and April's passiveness towards it. I've seen alcohol poison a lot of people their minds around me, and violent underage drinking being played for laughs a lot didn't sit so well with me. It doesn't solve a lot of problems, but instead just hurts people. But yeah, I was happy when Splinter cut that shit down.

Anyway, this was a really good fic. I loved every word you wrote and I was happy to learn to look at the boys in ways I hadn't before. I want to give them all a really big hug now. But I'm glad that I got to read this for as long as I did. Just know you did an excellent job and even the weirdest parts still felt believable because you're so good at writing people as well-rounded beings with different believes and motivations. Good job! I'm gonna check out your other stuff now :)

Oh man that was an intense place to leave off lol. After a long time I finally caught up, and it has been a wonderful rollercoaster ride of emotions! You definitely added some great flavor to their characters and did such a great job keeping them "in character". I could honestly believe most of the things they said and did being canon, it was so well done. God the images of the end of the last chapter are stuck in my head! lol I know it's been 2 years since you last updated so idk if you plan to continue (which would be wonderful) or not, or if you'll ever read this, but thank you so much for such an enjoyable series to this point! One of the best TMNT fics I've ever read by far! I so hope to find out where you had planned to go with this but even if it ends here, it was a wonderful journey to this point. Thank you again and I wish you all the best.

Man, I'm sorry to see that you haven't been around for a couple years. I checked back in on this story recently, which I've been reading since I was in middle school. (I'm in college now). I may consider this one of the best, if not the best, fan fiction I've ever read.

You left us on quite a cliffhanger, but I guess I'll have to survive with what's left to the imagination. If you never update April's Diary again, I'll just continue being grateful for the comedy and adventure with which you've graced us. Until then, hope you're doing well.

Oh WOW! Is it more? I am tottaly addicted to this storyyou has such a great talent. It's just amazing that you can switch from comedy to drama to action to thriller and back. I cannot wait to read what happened next. It's one of the best stories I have ever read.
