Well a few things. First I loathe how many times I've come across a dropped story that has a last chapter saying they are alive or back. Almost always saying they'll be posting again soon but never come back. Again no one in the site at least leaving a final post of basically what they had in mind for the story. Events bad guys, good guys, interactions and so on. Nope, just gone.

For this story I came across it a number of times but always by passing it because I thought it would be fairly bad. Another teen putting random "cool" bs and not be any good. I can easily say I regret I hadn't read this earlier. I can't help but also repeat it's a damned waste this was dropped.

I gotta thank the author for being one of the few who also regularly used characters that dont get used too often. Hinata while actually used a fair bit is usually an interaction here and there with naruto more often than not and is rarely a commonly used character. Usually it's just naruto or team 7.

Shikamaru and yugao though. Especially yugao I was happy made such a showing. I wouldnt preferred more interactions and "filler" as many people want to call non action chapters but it was still enjoyable nevertheless.

Hell I would've liked to have had a scene or chapter for when they trained at shikamarus. The only parents that really show up are hiashi here and there and almost always evil or bitchy versions of sakuras mom.

I figure I should be more specific on my last comment. What I meant about the half ass attack is despite already personally learning his blade cant pierce the barrier without shikai he made the attempt anyway.

He had the element of surprise. Rather than attempt a clone as a distraction or first attempt. A surprise high speed arrow or his shikai. He just used a normal quick attack despite knowing about the barriers for the stronger armors.

Which again in the beginning of thos chapter he did yet again. Doto himself shows and says his personal armor is the strongest model. Yet he grabs his sword and attempts another basic attack trying to stop him from taking her away.

Otherwise enjoyable I suppose.

Why the hell did he half ass that attack at the end.

I also dont get how you see a blimp coming yet cant stop a grapple on a person standing beside you when you're a damned ninja. He could block with a quick draw?

Theres also been a surprising lack if clones. No hanged clones on this mission at all when theres s specific target. Also I think I remember the enemy mentioning to yugao about the crystal yet she said nothing about it. Just saying theres more going on there then them obviously wanting her.
