kblvs2read chapter 1 . 7/24/2010 Great one-shot - liked how it wasn't really written from any specific perspective; it's something all the female officers deal with. You really caught the emotions behind working in MI5 :) Congrats! ~Katelyn |
katiealice49 chapter 1 . 7/3/2010 That was a really fresh one-shot. Not written from anyone's point of view, just plain facts. It was great, well done. |
Symphony In Blue chapter 1 . 7/2/2010 That was absolutey brilliant Nia. Very gripping, full of raw emotion and very well written :) |
Rambling Scribe chapter 1 . 7/2/2010 This is really good - a well written, thoughtful, mature, original piece. There'll always be that issue for female officers - just how far are they prepared to go for their jobs. Excellent. x |
mamzalini chapter 1 . 7/2/2010 Woah! Very well written. Intense and poetic. Keep up the great work. |
Virgil's Student chapter 1 . 7/2/2010 Really interesting one shot, hon - one that could very easily (with a few adjustments) also be used as a manifesto for Amnesty International or a women's rights group. There are broader feminist arguments to be made about the implications of this, but I think you've tapped into something that the show has skimmed over from time to time. That there are times when sending a pretty girl in to get the job done can be very effective. I appreciated this one a lot. It might have been better to do it with someone (who could have remained nameless as a an effective symbol) actually narrating it, but this is something different and you don't get much truly original fan fic. Nice one! |
teetotally chapter 1 . 7/1/2010 Most excellent! Not just since re-watching 7.5, I've been pondering the issue. Wish I could use pictures the way you use words but I might give it a try anyway... All Lucas (and /Ros) apart, that Jo/Ros was one of my favourite scenes. Loving it. Danke :D |
