Ah, wonderful! I love Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog as it was written, but that ending never fails to leave me teary eyed and then I want a happily-ever-after story. Thanks for writing one! Though now I want to see what happens when Penny finds out about his dual identity.

I love this story; it's so wonderfully happy and captures Penny so well! :) She's such a dear, and I like your ending a lot better than canon!

I love the expansion to your story and seeing Penny's perspective on the laundromat scene. You definitely took the time and care to keep them in-character and your prose definitely has that quirky Whedonesque feel in these that often comes across in his dialogue.

I just read this, and the companion fic, Freeze, and I loved them both. I'm trying to do some Horrible stuff of my own (not that any is up yet lol. writer's procrastination is a joy), and this is so inspiring!

Okay, so story itself. Your sentence structure is really nice. Unlike me, you can convey a lot with very little description, something I really admire. Doing this second bit (especially laundry day) from Penny's POV makes the story a bit more cohesive, and helps the reader understand both characters a bit better. So as you can tell, I love a lot!

This took place at the end right? And that piece of the gun didn't get lodged in Penny's chest. (YAY!) And she broke up with that loser of a hero. -dances-

And then...the scene in the laundromat, where Billy just sucks it up and says "No. You know what? That was exactly what I meant."

Awesome! I loved Freeze so much, I was really excited for this companion piece. Once again, everyone is in character, and the story was written quite well. Really great story, can't wait to hear from you again, looking forward to the next story. Keep on writing!
