| Kiki Cabou chapter 5 . 7/6/2010 Okay, so I was a little leery because Star Trek is totally not my thing, but I can tell Kirk from Spock, at least, so I gave it a shot. It was ... Nealy. I liked it. I had fun. I recognized LITERALLY NOBODY besides Kirk and Spock, but it was still really cute, so it worked. You asked for concrit on the ending: It was totally plausible, but the change in tone, while completely understandable, was pretty drastic. I enjoyed it but I have to admit, I was like, "Whoa, what? Where did THIS come from?" However, it was nicely handled, and it wrapped the story up quite neatly, which is what an ending is supposed to do, so well done! (-: |
| Cairistona chapter 5 . 7/3/2010 What funnnnn! I thoroughly enjoyed this story! :D Haha! Neal and Kirk! Neal and Spock! Great interactions! And I liked how you put Neal with Chekov. I was picturing the 2009 Chekov, who's cuter than the 1966 one, so that was a super cute mental image. I loved it. And I enjoyed this line: "It had been about a week and a half since he'd arrived, and it was definitely the longest-feeling dream he'd ever had. The runner-up wasn't even close, a mental vision of a two-day heist." I just had to laugh! :) Such enjoyment! :) |
