So if anyone reads reviews before they read the story just know that a lot of the time Harry is an angst filled asshole half the time. At least it seems that way to me.

He always seems to care and whine about what is happening to him and his feeling instead of even thinking about anyone else's.

Like whenever he gets angry and upset with Atem he never truly looks at it from his perspective it is just all about Harry and how unfair or unhappy it makes him feel.

It is kinda annoying to me personally because it almost takes away from his character and how great he could actually have been in this story.

This is just my honest opinion on this and I feel I had to warn people about the angstfest it sometimes turns into when we aren't warned about it. Because I really don't enjoy a lot of angst when I read most of the time and I like to know that I am getting into those things.

It is a good story still and a good story to pick up and read if you don't mind it being unfinished and doesn't really get any further in Harry and Atem's relationship other than Atem saying he likes Harry. Then Harry saying he doesn't know anything about love and letting Atem have a chance to show him.

I know that you will probably never read this with how old this story is.

But Harry is such a giant fucking dick in this chapter and kind of an angsty little bitch. Like he believes he has more right to be upset over his death when he has only known him a couple weeks at most over someone that has grown up with him around like Atem. Also, that he gets to be a dick to Atem over having to choose Harry because he also has a kingdom to run but no everything has to be all about Harry's feeling and no one else's matters.

I know this will never effect anything but I feel way better and able to keep on reading with getting that rant off my chest.

Harry should have explained what was going on in full, like why the Statute of Secrecy came to be in the first place as well as the need to hide from those they consider "nonmagical". Mahaad and his apprentice can't understand that people will hunt you down for being different and that "nonmagicals" gladly killed those with magic because they saw them as evil. It was one of the reasons Hogwarts came to be; so magical children could have a safe place to learn magic. However, since he didn't explain the full reasoning, I don't know how to take Mahaad's advice because he doesn't know or understand the full situation.
