I really enjoyed this story, first multichapter "the road" story i have read, and even though its a little more...hopeful than the original source material in my opinion, i loved it!

Nice chapter again! I just love the talk between the boy and the girl after they saved the baby; it's just me, or they really looked like a young couple? But I think it won't be easy to raise up little Jack in a world like this...

I was surprised to see that you contiued this story, I thought you left it unfinished. I'm happy because you didn't and this chapter was very interesting; I just loved the part when the boy shot the man capturing his "sister". I'm waiting for the next, I want to know more about Sofia and the greenhouse.

one of my main problems with the whole coke can incident is this: it doesn't stay bubbly forever...my personal experiences have gone,maybe,a year out from teh expiration date,and it is flat as hell...i found a can whilst moving that was three years old,and openned it,it was all flat and icky tasting...so yeah...main flaw within the story...

You have an interesting piece of work here. I just read the book and saw the film, and I think you did a great job with this story. It matches well the feeling of the original, even if you are less artisic than McCarthy and use punctuation. Be careful not to copy too much, and that will be a perfect fanfiction, I already like it. Do you plan to continue it?
