The fight with the Deadly Nadder in the Kill Ring? I think Hiccup always followed Gobber's instructions when possible, and he was out of the way of the Nadder, it was Astrid who stumbled on Hiccup not the other way around. In fact every accident that happened in the arena was the other teens' fault not Hiccup's.

I love your A/N: "This initially just started out as a short fluff piece about Astrid's thoughts on Hiccup. Well it grew larger than the Green Death." It made me laugh!
The story was really well done, the writing, everything! I liked how you didn't told the movie again but did a few selected scenes. I'm not happy how the movie didn't do justice to Astrid or the other teens, like expand in their personalities, perspectives and so on. Very well done!

I liked that you didn't go scene by scene but rather had one cohesive, flowing introspective story. Something like this might work well in 1st person perspective so you could add a little more of their own mannerisms and speech in their.

Still an excellent story that is definitely favorited.

Obviously a great perspective choice seeing as how Astrid has a better view of the things happening around Hiccup who always things going on.

Further into the story I was getting Goosebumpy with the events seeing them through Astrid's eyes and there's a lot of emotion there. Whoo!
