queer-serenity chapter 1 . 10/18/2011
Ohhhhhh thank you thank you thank you for writing a bit with them before Serenity the ship! This scenario is exactly like how I've pictured them doing stuff together. Class!
Red Bess Rackham chapter 1 . 9/7/2010
Yay! A slightly longer fic! Loved this one. Once again, you amaze with the ultra excellent way in which you capture Firefly speak. It rolls through my mind perfectly. Excellent job. :D

I do have to say, the very last bit: "every thug in the neighborhood was up in arms about a new team in town.

Those thugs were only half right" made me think that they're not a new team, they've always been a team. But just now, technically, is when they became partners, so.

In any event, loved it, as usual, and wish there was more, as usual. :P

Best short one I've seen in a while, you really do a great job writing Zoe, I can just see her in my mind when I read her in this story. I liked the "sometimes you get lucky, ... and sometimes you don't", line and I liked the image of Mal's climbing eyebrows. But the best part was about the "new team in town", I love that! Because they are an amazing team! Great little story about the forming of a brilliant partnership.

Jadzia Bear chapter 1 . 6/25/2010
This was heaps of fun! And you always amaze me, the way you think of these little things. I'd never thought about the fact that there would have been a time when Zoe had no reason to call Mal "sir", but I bet you're right, I bet she never stopped.

This was a really entertaining read, thank you : )
