I'd love this to become a two-shot. With the actual battle and Paul's surprise that he can't beat Ash as easily as he could all the other times. Oh, and Gary's smugness that Paul is royally getting his ass kicked.

I hate telling people what to do but this was so magnificent! I imagined every single thing and it just set my mind running into possibilities after the match! I adore it!

Ha, I love the characterization in this fic, it's so right on it makes me smile.

Not that I don't love the romance angle at the end, otherwise why would I read, lol, but I confess that good characterization always always makes me enjoy the story more than weak and flimsy 2D characters.

Back to your fic, AWESOMENESS on bringing all of Ash's travelling companions together to support him! ) And I liked that Gary actually made his half of the Pokeball into a necklace and wears it everywhere he goes! And that Ash carried his lucky charms wherever he goes too is sweet! ) I can't wait for the Sinnoh League to start too actually! Here in Singapore Ash hasn't even got his seventh badge at Snowpoint City yet. XD

PS: Just had an evil thought on making Paul even MORE jealous for fic! Make Gary do the same thing with the necklace and both of them show off their halves of the Pokeball to the rest! PSS: I remembered the Palletshpping moment in that episode where Ash and Gary "tied" for the Pokeball!
