Bonus points for resisting the nigh-irresistible temptation of concluding "Dragons and Philosopher's Stones and centaurs..." with "oh, my!" Obvious, cheap, and distracting...but hard to forego in favour of maintaining literary quality, as you managed to do.

Very nice handling of Snape! Although slightly altered, he remains the Severus we all know and...well, know, anyway. Have to say I agree with you on the whole "characterization consistency" issue; obviously anyone who wanted to get into Original Snape's mind would only have to bring up the Marauders or Lily for his control to melt into a screaming puddle, and then he'd be free food.

this has the makings of a decent story, but your formatting is atrocious. The long, jumbled paragraphs with multiple start/stops of dialogue is very hard to read.

Draco is OC. He didn't act all uppity until AFTER Harry showed a preference to Ron on the train.

Excellent start. This is quite a bit different start than most stories I've read out here. I have one suggestion and that is to break up your longer paragraphs it will make them more readable.

Even though I feel very sorry for Harry, I couldn't help but giggle at the fact Sirius was playing with muggles even though half of britain was scared shitless about his escape. I expect great things from you and etc... I do hope to talk to you some time untill then.
