That was an entirely unexpected but wonderful little philosophical jaunt. You write Q wonderfully, could hear John de Lancie's voice the whole time :)

Great story!

Great premise, dialogue, and story in genera. It has been a while since I have been able to add anything to my favorites so thanks for the story. Rather than robust, I would recommend the term anti-fragile. If you have the chance it's a good book to read as well that is relevant to the premise of this story.

But the last three paragraphs are fantastic.

I thought this was pretty clever! I'm not that familiar with Q canon, but I really enjoyed your portrayal. It's nice to imagine the two of them getting into other antics in the future.
